Dr. Jay Dyke
Veterinarian
Dr. Dyke grew up Chicago and attended school at the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign with a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering. He went on to do graduate work in structural engineering at the University of Minnesota. Dr. Dyke then moved to the great state of Kansas and received his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine at Kansas State University in 2008. He worked at a private small animal general practice from 2009 to 2013 and in February 2013, he came to Banfield. Later that same year, he became Chief of Staff. Dr. Dyke and his wife have a daughter, two dogs, and four cats. His specific interest is internal medicine and he enjoys assisting in the growth and development of young doctors. When he has some spare time, Dr. Dyke likes to pick up a good book and read.

Dr. Susan Kivett
Veterinarian
Dr. Kivett attended the School of Veterinary Medicine at Kansas State University. She has been a valuable asset to the Merriam location's veterinary team for the past 17 years. Dr. Kivett had Mikado, a weimaraner that keeps her busy. When not working, she enjoys reading, music, movies and lake trips with her family.

Dr. Roy Wilson
Veterinarian
Dr. Wilson came to Banfield in 2016 after being in a mixed animal private practice. He now specializes in small animals and exotics. Dr. Wilson is a Missouri native and graduated from Mizzou. He has two shih tzus at home and in his spare time, he likes to check out the local cuisines and experience new restaurants.

Dr. Kayce Kobs
Veterinarian
Dr. Kobs graduated with her DVM from Iowa State University in 2015. Though she now calls Kansas City home, she enjoys visits to her hometown Ashland, Nebraska. Following graduation, she worked in Omaha until her transfer to Kansas City. Her professional interests include internal medicine and dentistry, and she enjoys reading, horseback riding, singing, and west coast swing dancing in her free time. Dr. Kobs lives in Mission, Kansas with her guinea pigs, Merida and Navalee.

Practice Manager
Tanya is the Practice Manager at the Merriam and Topeka hospitals. After working in physical therapy, she found her calling to work not only with people, but also with animals and joined the Banfield team. Tanya has a loving husband and two sons. When her family is not keeping her busy, she likes to curl up with her mastiff and a good book, or spend time on the lake.

Reba McLaughlin
Shift Lead
Reba came to Banfield in 2016. She started as a client service coordinator and worked her way up to a veterinary assistant and now is a shift lead. Her love of animals started at a young age where she volunteered for many years at the Sunset Zoo in Manhattan, KS where she grew up. Reba has continued her love of working with animals and we are excited to have her here at Banfield in her current role. Reba has two dogs and in her free time, she can usually be found at the lake enjoying the cool summer breeze with her pups.
