As a young girl in Puerto Rico, I remember having an instant attachment to animals. As I see it, what better way to spend the day than by playing with pets, and at the same time, making a difference in their lives by providing wellness education to their owners. My husband, Andy, and I met at Purdue University while I was attending veterinary school. We have two wonderful children, a boy and a girl, as well as a Great Dane named Scooby. I enjoy spending time with my family, going to the movies, and catching a few zzz’s when I have a few extra minutes. I obtained my undergraduate and DVM degree from Purdue University and joined the Banfield team in 2009. Please feel free to stop in. I would enjoy meeting you and your pet family!! More Details >>

It's been great joining the Banfield team and working with Indy residents and their furry, feathery, and scaly companions. I grew up in the sunny Caribbean country of Trinidad and Tobago where I was exposed to and loved working with animals of many species. However, I wanted to get a broader veterinary experience to continue my career, so I made the difficult but exciting decision to move to the U.S. I graduated from Kansas State University in 2014, moved to Indiana, and I'm definitely living the dream of a small animal vet. I also have an interest in public health and zoonotic disease, and the role veterinarians play in preventing disease between both humans and animals. I currently have two cats, Santana and Oreo. I enjoy painting, watching movies and travelling. I strive to offer the best care possible to all pets when they enter the hospital, and look forward to meeting yours. More Details >>

I fondly recall my first dog Sophie, a golden retriever, she is the one who taught me the importance of the Human-Animal Bond… which lies deeply in my heart. As a direct result of our special connection, I started working at an animal kennel when I was 16-years old. That experience quickly taught me that I was indeed passionate for all pets and that I wanted to study animal science/biology; I earned both my Bachelor of Science degree and my DVM at Purdue University. I have a real interest in clinical pathology (analyzing laboratory samples and test results.) When not working, I enjoy hanging out with my 10-year old kitty cat, Marble (tortie), and taking long walks with my 7-year-old black lab, Andy. I also like trying new sushi restaurants with friends, swimming and yoga. I am here to be an advocate for your pets medical needs, while understanding the depth and complexity of the bond between you and your pet. More Details >>
