    Dr. Megan Nugent

    Veterinarian

    Dr. Nugent graduated from the University of Illinois with her bachelor's degree in animal science. She chose to stay in Champaign-Urbana and completed her veterinary degree at the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Nugent met her husband at college and last summer welcomed a beautiful daughter. She is committed to providing excellent care for pets and encouraging a strong emphasis on preventive care. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family, visiting with the Mothers of Preschoolers group at church and catching up on a good book or TV show.     Veterinarian

    Dr. Ortiz was born on the south side of Chicago. She completed her undergraduate degree at Purdue University and received her DVM at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. Her professional interests include dental care and preventive medicine. When not working, she enjoys being home with her husband, dogs, Teddy Roosevelt and Ellie Roosevelt, and step-cats, Kenai, Moxie and Stripes. More Details >>

    Dr. Daniel Chesnut

    Veterinarian

    Dr. Chesnut was first introduced to veterinary medicine at a young age, frequently spending time at his neighbor's veterinary clinic in Grand Rapids, MI. After moving to the Chicago suburbs, Dr. Chesnut received his bachelor's degree in animal science from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign. He went on to veterinary school at University of Wisconsin - Madison before returning to Illinois to work in Naperville for 2 years. Dr. Chesnut then worked and lived in Chicago for 3 years before moving back out of the city and joining the Banfield team. He lives with his dog, Marci, and cat, Tony. In his spare time, he enjoys reading, catching up on TV and movies, cooking, and spending time with his pets. Dr. Chesnut believes that the best preventive care allows for more early intervention and overall healthier pets with better quality of lives.
