    Dr. Jo Fisher

    Chief of Staff

    Dr. Fisher received her veterinary degree from University of Glasgow in 2001. She also has a residency and master’s degree from Iowa State University. She has a particular interest in dentistry, which she pursues every year with additional training. Dr. Fisher loves working with pets and enjoys both surgery and difficult medicine cases.     Dr. Laura-Beth Collins

    Associate Veterinarian

    Dr. Collins was born and raised in Nova Scotia, Canada. She completed her bachelor’s degree in animal science, followed by her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the Atlantic Veterinary College on Prince Edward Island, Canada. After graduating from veterinary medicine, Dr. Collins started her career at a mixed animal practice followed by a position in small animal emergency and critical care. She is now excited to be joining the team with Banfield! Dr. Collins’ special interests include dermatology, ophthalmology, preventive medicine and surgery. Dr. Collins has a horse named Promise, a St. Bernard named Ruegger, and two cats, Meeps and kitty.     Dr. Amara Hickson

    Associate Veterinarian

    Dr. Hickson was born in Corvallis, Oregon. She received her bachelor's degree at LaGrange College, followed by her DVM at University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine. She enjoys educating her clients on how to provide a happy life for their pets and to help along the way with any sicknesses that occur. In her downtime, Dr. Hickson enjoys reading and being outdoors, particularly at the beach. She has a pug-mixed named Kona at home who she loves to spoil. More Details >>

    Shift Lead

    Caitlin was born and raised in Atlanta to a big wonderful family. She has had many pets throughout her life including dogs, cats, bunnies, hermit crabs and hamsters. She joined the Banfield team in 2015 and recently transferred to the Savannah location. Caitlin currently has a dog named Sergeant and a one eye cat named Freya, both of which she has had since they were 5-6 weeks old.     Cole was born and raised in Leesburg, GA (the same hometown of Luke Bryan and American idol winner Phillip Phillips!). He moved to Savannah after graduating with a degree in veterinary technology from Ogeechee Technical College in 2015. He is currently attending Georgia Southern Armstrong to become a radiologic technician and hopes to someday help people with neurological diseases.
