    Dr. Sarah K. Wheat

    Veterinarian

Dr. Wheat was born and raised in Georgia, but left the state to pursue her college career at Auburn University. After graduating from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2001, she came home to Fayetteville and spent 16 years in emergency medicine before joining Banfield in 2018. When not taking care of her patients, she enjoys being a mother to her 2 children and animal family, and reading anything she can get her hands on! More Details >>

    Kimberly Ward, LVT

    Practice Manager

Kim grew up in Texas, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in public relations at Sam Houston State University. It is during her time in college that she obtained a part-time job at a veterinary hospital and discovered her love of veterinary medicine. This ultimately led to her going back to school later in life to obtain an associate degree in veterinary technology. Kim came to work at Banfield in 2014 as a practice manager after working at Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine as a veterinary nurse for over 12 years. Kim’s passionate about promoting pet adoptions through rescue organizations and dispelling breed specific discrimination/legislation. In her free time, she enjoys taking her pups to the park, spending time with friends and family, and volunteering with various non-profit animal rescue organizations. She has 3 dogs (Piggy, Clementine, and Olive), 1 cat (Maverick), and 2 guinea pigs (Poppy and Petunia). More Details >>

Over the years, Linsey has opened her home to countless foster kittens, even keeping a few along the way. Her passion is educating people about the misconceptions of dog breeds, the importance of proper training, and simple things people can do to help their pets live long, happy lives.
