    Dr. Smeth attended the University of Georgia where she earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2013. She has been with Banfield since graduating and has special interests in behavior and internal medicine.     Dr. Danaceau is a 2015 graduate from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine. Her special interests include animal behavior, internal medicine, and nutrition.     Dr. Alyssa Wilkinson


    Dr. Wilkinson grew up in Michigan and graduated from Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2007. She has a special interest in public health and completed a student externship at the CDC. She liked the Atlanta area so much that she decided to move there after graduation. Dr. Wilkinson has worked at several Banfield locations in the greater Atlanta area. She has 3 rescues, a small mixed breed dog and two cats, and in her free time, she enjoys hiking, traveling to visit family, and playing piano and violin. More Details >>

    Dr. Politte is a 2011 graduate of Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine. She was in private practice in Northwest Florida for 7 years and joined Banfield in 2018. Her special interests include soft tissue surgery and dentistry. She is married and has 2 Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, Aria and Archer.     Veterinary Technician

    Courtney attended the University of Georgia where she graduated in 2016 with a bachelor's degree in animal science with an emphasis in equine management. After graduating from UGA, she attended Athens Technical College were she furthered her degree and love for animals by obtaining her registered veterinary nurse license in 2018. Courtney has four animals of her own including a rescued Labrador retriever named Sable Joe, two Ragdoll cats, Skye Chandler and Sebastian, and Zuba an Arabian horse who she has owned since she was in the second grade. In Courtney’s free time, she enjoys lounging by a pool or beach, specifically Hilton Head Island, riding her horse, and hanging out with friends and family. More Details >>
