Dr. Edwards grew up in Columbia, Maryland. She and her husband have twin boys, 2 dogs, Missy and Vela, a cat named Loki, a hermit crab named Hermie, and several plants. Upon graduation from Tuskegee University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2001, she first practiced in Las Vegas. In her free time, Dr. Edwards enjoys sci/fi movies, anime, and being outdoors with her family and friends. She also enjoys gardening and trying new foods. A member of Banfield Pet Hospital since 2007, preventing and educating pet parents about heartworm disease is one of her passions.

Ariana is originally from Alexandria, VA and received her B.S. degree from George Mason University in biology. She started with Banfield as a client service coordinator, then trained as a veterinary assistant, and was later promoted to shift lead and again promoted to practice manager. From providing day to day medical assistance to working in urgent situations to volunteering, it has been endlessly rewarding for her. Ariana has 2 American pit bull terriers, Egypt and Ninja, and a cat named Hemi. In her spare time, she loves spending time with her friends and family.
