Dr. Omega Hammerling
Chief of Staff
Dr. Omega Hammerling has been with Banfield since February 2014 starting at the Lexington, SC location, and has been at Augusta since November 2017. She is a native of South Carolina and an alumnus of Clemson University. She received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Ross University, and completed her clinical training at NC State’s College of Veterinary Medicine. She has a special interest in endocrinology, and a extra soft spot for golden retrievers. She and her husband currently live in Aiken with their two daughters, Dori and Hazel. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, reading, watching sports, all things orange, and all things Disney!

Dr. Nilin Gupta
Veterinarian
Dr. Nilin Gupta joined Banfield in Birmingham, AL in April 2018 and joined our team in Augusta, GA in April 2019. Prior to Banfield, he worked in Shoals Area Emergency Animal Hospital in Florence, AL and Animal Medical Center and Specialty hospital in Birmingham, AL. Dr. Gupta also served as veterinary officer for the government of India. He completed his veterinary studies in December 2000 and after gaining his DVM degree, he pursued and received a master’s degree in animal nutrition from the College of Veterinary Sciences in Pantnagar, India. He came to the USA for graduate studies in biomedical sciences at FSU and after graduation, he spent a couple of years in research. Dr. Gupta enjoys small animal medicine and surgery, and is especially interested in client education. He and his wife live in Augusta, with their two children. Outside of work, Dr. Gupta enjoys traveling and spending time with his family.

Alexis Hampton, RVT
Practice Manager
Alexis was born and raised in Augusta, GA and has been with Banfield since 2016. She is responsible for ensuring that each day runs smoothly, that each Banfield associate delivers excellent client experience, and that our patients receive the highest quality care. She loves teaching about veterinary medicine to others and enjoys educating clients about their pets specific needs. Although Alexis loves all types of animals, she has a special affection for Chihuahuas. In her free time, she enjoys being out in the sun and water, listening to music, binge watching TV shows and cuddling with her five Chihuahuas, Lucy, Lola, Jack, Jill, and Minnie Mouse.

Kristen Dimm
Veterinary Assistant
Kristen has worked for Banfield for over 7 years (at 2 different hospitals). Her dad is a veterinarian, so she's worked at a veterinary hospital since she was 14 years old. She majored in human communication studies at Shippensburg University and while there, played tennis. She still plays competitively weekly! She and her husband, Ryan, have 2 kids, Adelyn and Sam, as well as a cat (Nala - Kristen got her in college) and 2 dogs (Ellie and Penny). Her "mom life" keeps her busy, but when she's at Banfield, she's all in!

Liana Coskrey
Veterinary Assistant
Liana has been a VA/ CSC for over 4 years and has been a professional dog groomer for over 11 years. She grew up in a small rural beach town north of the Black Sea along the Russia/Georgia border, and has always surrounded herself with animals growing up. She speaks Russian, English, Armenian and French. She and her husband live in Augusta with their 2 children and 2 dogs, a blue heeler named Rosie and a beagle mix named Sugar. She graduated from GSU with a bachelor's in business economics and is currently enrolled in Penn Foster to become a Registered Veterinary Technician. In the future, she would love to lead vet tech appointments, continue her education in anesthesia monitoring, and participate in one of our MARS volunteer ambassador programs. She hopes she can make a “pawsitive” impact in the world, one pet at a time.

Bailey Ogle
Veterinary Assistant
Bailey has been with Banfield for four years, starting in Columbia, SC (at our Spring Valley location), and now in Augusta. She attended Midlands Technical College, and has three dogs (Mia, Nala, and Luna) and one cat (Ghost). Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her fur family, watching movies, and various craft projects.

Brittany Williamson-Harrison

Brittany has been with us part-time for over 3 years and is always willing to lend a helping hand! She has a daughter, Gracelynne, and a dog with the most precious overbite, Ryder. Owls are her favorite animal, and she says that the best part of her job is getting to help take care of the dogs and cats that come in to our hospital.

Veterinary Assistant
Matt has been with us for a little over a year now. His favorite animals are chimpanzees and dogs, and he likes to play video games and watch video game tournaments online. He has a cat named Coffee and a dog name Bartholomew (Bart). He majored in biology at Georgia College & State University, and played rugby while he was there. He says his favorite part of his job is when he gets to reward our patients with treats! He's learned and grown a tremendous amount in the past few months, and we know he'll keep excelling!

Hannah loves video games, animals of all sizes, and long walks down the pet food aisle because nutrition is her jam. She hopes to pursue either equine or companion (cat/ dog) nutrition as a career, but is currently chugging along with her associate's degree in biology/veterinary technology. She got out of the Army in 2017, and has been following her dreams ever since.

Kimberly grew up in Poquoson, VA, and recently moved to the Augusta area and joined our Banfield team. She has been working in small animal medicine for 5 years and has a lifelong passion for animals. She has several pets including 3 dogs (Bentley, Gunner, and Chloe), 2 cats (Walt and Flash), and a bearded dragon (Bowser). In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and going to the beach.

Corey is a native of Augusta, GA and has been with the practice since November 2019. He came to Banfield to seek out ways to make sure pets are as healthy as they can be. He brings to the team his strong-minded and cheerful attitude, making sure that both clients and patients have an exceptional experience while at our hospital. In his fee time, he enjoys working out, as well as poetry, singing, drawing, and dancing.
