    Dr. Kristyn B. Hone

    Chief of Staff

    Dr. Hone entered the veterinary field in 2005 as a veterinary assistant. She graduated from Kansas State University in 2013 and joined Banfield June of that year at the Austell, GA location. Dr. Hone became Chief of Staff of Banfield in Acworth, GA in 2015. She calls Acworth home and enjoys working within her own community.     Dr. Patricia Wilfert


    Dr. Wilfert graduated from the University of Florida in 2002, and served in the US Army as a Veterinary Corp Officer for her first 3 years as a veterinarian. Dr. Wilfert moved to the Atlanta area in 2007 and has been practicing in the area since then, joining Banfield Acworth in April 2016. She is married with a son, who keeps her active, and they have a mutt named Halle, who is also her running partner. In Dr. Wilfert's spare time, she enjoys hanging with her family, hiking Kennesaw mountain, running half marathons, doing obstacle course races, and gardening. More Details >>

    Dr. Jennifer Jones


    Dr. Jones graduated from UGA in 2012 with her Bachelor of Science degree in agriculture and received her DVM degree from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine in May 2016. In June 2016, Dr. Jones joined Banfield in Acworth. She always wanted to be a veterinarian and grew up working her way towards becoming one. She has a special interest in feline medicine and has 3 special kitties of her own. Dr. Jones moved to Kennesaw, GA when she started her job here and loves how many opportunities for outdoor adventures there are in the area. On her days off, she spends time hiking, camping, and kayaking with her boyfriend and their dogs. Dr. Jones has loved building a client base here in Acworth, and is looking forward to meeting many new pets and clients along the way. More Details >>
