    Dr. Steven Blaustein

    Veterinarian

    Originally from Lindenhurst, New York, Dr. Blaustein’s family moved to Lake County, Florida where they started a hobby beef cattle ranch. Life on the farm fostered his love of animals and led to his desire to become a veterinarian. After graduating from the University of Central Florida, he went on to the University of Florida where he received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2008. Dr. Blaustein has been part of Banfield since 2005. He is comfortable seeing most small mammal species in addition to the traditional dog and cat.     Dr. Trisha Bergman

    Veterinarian

    Dr. Trisha Bergman is originally from Long Island, New York. Dr. Bergman has always had the desire to work with animals since a young child. After graduating high school she worked as a veterinary technician for 6 years at a small animal clinic and animal shelter. She also spent time working at vaccination clinics. In 2012 she decided to purse a bachelors degree in Animal Science at SUNY Cobleskill. Upon graduation in 2015 she was accepted into Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in St. Kitts, Caribbean . In 2018 she spent her last year of clinical training at University of Florida and upon completion, received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2019. Dr. Trisha Bergman has an interest in dermatology and ophthalmology in small animal medicine. In her spare time, she enjoys drawing, stitching needle point projects and being at the beach with friends and family. More Details >>

    Dr. Trinity Scanlon

    Veterinarian

    Originally from the small rural town of Upton, Massachusetts, Dr. Scanlon grew up raising chickens and ducks along with a variety of other animals including chinchillas, parakeets, and various reptiles. She also was an active member of the local equine and poultry 4-H clubs, both of which fostered her love of animals and childhood dream of becoming a veterinarian. Dr. Scanlon was recruited to play on the NCAA Division I Women’s Lacrosse team at the University of New Hampshire. She then continued her higher education and athletic career at Quinnipiac University where she graduated first in her class with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and minors in Chemistry and Psychology. In 2020 Dr. Scanlon earned her Veterinariae Medicinae Doctoris (VMD) at the University of Pennsylvania and chose to pursue her career as a veterinarian here in Florida with her dog Ezra and cat Armani.     Originally from Sayreville, New Jersey, Jessica moved to Tampa, FL in 2001. Jessica has been with Banfield since 2009. She earned her Associate's Degree from Pasco-Hernando State College in 2011. She is now working on her Bachelor's Degree in Communication at the University of South Florida. She is a well- trained veterinary assistant as well as a client service coordinator. She has interests in associate development and Corporate Social Responsibility. She is a community champion for the Northwest FL market. She is an advocate for preventive care for all pets.
