    Dr. Michael Kearley

    Chief of Staff

    Dr. Michael Kearley graduated from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine in 2013. He graduated with a certificate in shelter medicine as he has a fondness for unwanted and neglected pets, and strives to give a voice to the voiceless as he advocates for support of local shelters and humane organizations. He is originally from Temple Terrace where he attended Florida College and later transferred to the University of Florida for his undergraduate studies. Prior to veterinary school, he worked in animal hospitals as a veterinary technician and later as a surgical technician. His veterinary interests include preventive care, clinical pathology, and anesthesia, and he is Fear Free Certified. He now resides in Land O Lakes with his wife, Irene. They are joined by two cats and one dog. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time outdoors, baking, and visiting Disney World with his family and friends. More Details >>

    Dr. Jessica Martinez


    Dr. Martinez graduated from St. George's University Veterinary School and completed her clinical training at Auburn University Veterinary School. She is originally from New Jersey and moved to Tampa after marrying her husband who she met in veterinary school. In her free time, she enjoys reading, spending time outdoors, and spending time with friends and family. She lives in the Carrollwood area with her husband and their golden retriever named Doug.     Dr. Brake graduated from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine in May of 1995 after completing his undergraduate degree from Washington University in St. Louis. He joined the Banfield family in 2018 after 20 years of practice ownership in Southern Illinois. His 2 daughters, Sydney (22) and Madison (19) are currently studying engineering at Auburn University and the University of Alabama, respectively.
