Banfield Pet Hospital is located in the Welleby Plaza on the corner of Oakland Park Blvd and Nobhill in Sunrise, Florida. Our hospital is a stand-alone facility which means we are not located inside of a Petsmart. We offer preventive care packages called Optimum Wellness Plan® options which can help you manage pet health care costs. The plans may also be customized to best suit your pet’s needs, including heartworm and parasite protection.
We offer a wide range of services from dental cleanings, spay and neuter procedures, vaccinations, deworming, nail trims, and more. We look forward to welcoming you and your pets to our Banfield family in Sunrise, FL.

Dr. Zellmer
DVM
Dr. Zellmer is a Florida native, born in Sarasota and grew up in Tampa and Gainesville before leaving the state for college. She graduated from Auburn University in 2014 with her Bachelor of Science in Animal Science and took a year off before vet school where she worked as a sea turtle conservation intern on the Gulf Coast and a vet tech in Alachua, FL. She then moved to Columbus, OH to attend The Ohio State University College of Veterinary medicine. She graduated May 2019 and made a homecoming to practice veterinary medicine in the Sunshine State. Dr. Zellmer enjoys canine and feline general practice with a special interest in soft tissue surgery. She has two cats of her own, Gatsby and Walter, and recently added Captain, a rescue pup, to her pack.
