    Dr. Jake Seeman

Dr. Seeman grew up in Louisiana and though he showed an affinity for biology and animals from an early age, his original plan was to study marine biology. At the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, he quickly realized that research was not the path he wished to follow. It was a good friend that suggested veterinary medicine and several weeks later, he realized that helping animals was exactly what he wanted to do. He returned to Louisiana and studied veterinary medicine at LSU, where he graduated in 2006. He joined Banfield out of college, practicing for 4 years in San Diego before moving to South Florida. His love of animals extends to his home life where he has 3 cats, a 3-year-old golden doodle, Booster, and a year old mix breed, Ren. His other interests include personal health and fitness, comics, video games, travel, and a passion for food. Dr. Seeman is happiest when at home cooking for friends and loved ones with his furry helpers by his side. More Details >>
