    Dr. Kathryn Whedon, BVMS

    Chief of Staff

    Dr. Whedon is a native of New Jersey, moving to Florida to be closer to family and friends. She received her undergraduate degree in zoology from Auburn University and traveled to Perth, Western Australia to study veterinary medicine. She graduated from Murdoch University in 2008 with degrees in veterinary medicine and surgery. Dr. Whedon started at Banfield in 2009 at the Tallahassee location and was an associate veterinarian for 3 years prior to being promoted to Chief of Staff of the Panama City location. She strives to provide the highest level quality care for every pet and family choosing this facility. She has a strong interest in feline medicine and also enjoys surgery, internal medicine, and general preventive care. Along with cats and dogs, Dr. Whedon is happy to help small pets including Guinea pigs and rabbits. She enjoys spending her down time with her family and trying to catch up on a good book.     Jessica, CVT

    Practice Manager

    Jessica is a 17 year veteran in the field of veterinary medicine and graduated from the Bel-Rea Institute of Animal Technology in March 2001 with an associates in animal applied science. She became a licensed veterinary technician in 2003 and instantly realized that veterinary medicine was her calling. She started working for Banfield as a CVT in 2016 and recently took on the role as Practice Manager in November 2017. Jessica is a proud military wife and has 2 beautiful children, and a year old Guinea pig named Stewart. She loves veterinary medicine in general, however has always found a particular interest in quality patient care. This interest especially involves providing excellence in the fields of anesthesia and pain management. Jessica's hobbies include photography, baking and anything military family related!     Shift Lead

    Wendi has been in the veterinary field since 2009 and shift lead at the Panama City location since 2015. She studied animal science at Louisiana State University and veterinary technology at Penn Foster College, and has interests in genetics and nutrition. Wendi is a Louisiana native, and her favorite breed of dog is a golden retriever and favorite breed of cat is an Egyptian mau. She enjoys cooking and going on adventures with her dog, Prima, who is a golden retriever. She also has 2 cats, Tigerlily and Hindi. More Details >>

    Dilynn was born and raised in Stockton, CA and grew up around dogs and horses. She got her first horse as a Christmas gift when she was 12, and then started pole bending and some barrel racing in high school. Dilynn joined the US Navy at the age of 17, where she met her wonderful spouse, and after serving this country aboard the USS T. Roosevelt, they moved to sunny Panama City. She has been with Banfield for 6 years and absolutely loves her job! Dilynn has 1 child, 3 pets, snakes and a ferret. She plans to continue taking care of your best friends for as long as she can.     Veterinary Technician

    Tarrah completed her degree at Carrington College of Sacramento, California. She is a military spouse of 10 years and currently spends her off time chasing her toddler, Wesley. Tarrah has a passion for anesthesia and all things dentistry, and hopes to specialize one day.     Marie has been working in the veterinary field for about 5 years, with her time at Banfield just under 4 years. She was attending nursing classes at the University of Utah before she realized her true passion in medicine was of the furry variety. Her interests within veterinary medicine lie in clinical pathology and anesthesiology. Marie's love for animals stems from her childhood pets, Cucho, the big white cat, Swimmer, the swimming turtle, as well as her beloved 8-year-old brother and sister Shih Tzus, Vinny and Lita. Marie was recently married and is constantly being harassed by her husband about when they're going to get a puppy.     Ashley has been with Banfield since June 2015, starting out as a Client Service Coordinator and then being promoted to Veterinary Assistant. She has 2 dogs including a Pekingese mix named Jayda, and a pit bull mix named Beau. Ashley loves animals, but her absolute favorite and one she hopes to work with in the future, is a Giraffe!     Brihanna graduated in 2016 with honors from A. Crawford Mosley High School and is the only one who has ever graduated high school within her family. She has been with Banfield since mid 2017, and plans to go to school to become a Certified Veterinary Technician. Her favorite breed of dog is a Siberian husky, and she has a 5-year-old husky named Deadpool, Merc for short, named after her favorite comic book character in the Marvel comic series.     Kelsee is married and a mother of two girls, Annalyn and Brianna. She moved from Birmingham, Alabama to Panama City, Florida in July 2017, and began working in the veterinary field in 2013. She started working for Banfield in October 2017 as a veterinary assistant, and her professional interests include vaccinations and preventive care. While in Birmingham, Kelsee worked for several rescues and animal shelters as she believes that every pet should have a happy home and a forever family.     Natasha started working in the veterinary field in Waukegan, IL in 1990. While she has taken various breaks from working with animals, completing a bachelor's degree in English and German, working in radio, and owning her own computer consulting business, the animals always call her back. She first started working at Banfield in Pensacola in 2007 and has been working at the Panama City location since April 2009. Natasha has two dogs, two cats, two Guinea pigs, and several fish.     Clifford has been with Banfield since early 2017, and graduated from Chapman and Maryland University for forensic science. He spent 20 years in the military working in the medical field and even though he worked on animals in areas related to his field during that time, vet medicine was something new.
