Dr. Jessica Maines
Veterinarian
Dr. Jessica Maines obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in biology from the University of North Florida. For veterinary school, she attended Ross University Veterinary School in St. Kitts, West Indies and completed her clinical year at Auburn University. Prior to veterinary school, she volunteered with a local animal shelter and a zoo. She also spent a year working as a nurse/technician in a general practice taking care of dogs and cats. Dr. Maines is proud to help dogs and cats on a daily basis and believes this is her life's calling. In her free time, she likes bike riding and going to the beach with her husband, as well at hanging out with her three dogs, Paige, Sadie and Parker, and cat named Kitty.

Dr. John Von Kieckebusch
Veterinarian
Dr. Von Kieckebusch is a graduate of Oklahoma State University School of Veterinary Medicine. His love of horses began at a very young age when his father purchased a pony for him when he was seven years old He has been riding and working with horses ever since. Dr. Dr. Von Kieckebusch’s professional interests include small animal surgery, ophthalmology, equine reproduction and equine lameness. In his free time, he enjoys riding horses, playing golf, traveling and spending time at the beach with family and friends.

Dr. Jennifer Giraldin
Veterinarian
Dr. Jennifer Giraldin grew up rescuing cats and dogs and riding horses in Southern California. At a very young age she knew that she wanted to transform her love for animals into a career in veterinary medicine. She attended Kansas State University on an equestrian scholarship and remained there for veterinary school. After a few cold winters, she decided to find somewhere warmer and relocated to Florida. She spends most of her free time riding horses and playing with her dog, Masi.

Certified Veterinary Technician
Torri is a Certified Veterinary Technician who spent the last year of her career working in emergency medicine. When not helping pets, she enjoys reading and studying critical care medicine. Torri has three pets of her own including a boxer named Layla, and two retrievers, Coco and Creme.

Veterinary Assistant
Emily has been a veterinary technician for a year. Prior to becoming a technician, Emily pursued her education degree at Flagler College in St. Augustine and was a dog trainer for PetSmart. Emily has 3 pets of her own including a mini Australian Shepherd named Augustine and 2 cats, Juno and Cleocatra. She also has a 55 gallon fish tank with over 20 fish named Harry Potter. When she's not playing with her pets, Emily enjoys hiking, watching nature documentaries, and finding ways to convince her family to let her adopt more animals!

Erin has been in the veterinary profession for 3 years. She started in Hawaii on the island of Oahu and after 2 years there, moved back to the states with her family. Erin's husband is in the Navy, so they have had the pleasure of living all over the U.S. Erin has 2 beautiful children and one cat named Max. When she isn't spending time with her family or helping pets, Erin enjoys horseback riding and getting lost in the wizarding world of Harry Potter.

Melissa moved to Jacksonville in 2013 from South Florida. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in biology at the University of North Florida and is currently studying for her CVT license. Melissa has been with Banfield since March 2017. She has two dogs, Koda and Lyric, and a tortoise named Titto. On her time off, she enjoys cooking, kayaking, mountain biking, photography, reading music, and hanging out with her husband and pups.
