Dr. Etienne J. Rossy Hernandez was born and raised in Puerto Rico. He started working at Banfield in the fall of 2015 after completing veterinary school at Ross University with a clinical year at Oklahoma State University. In his third year of veterinary school, Dr. Rossy Hernandez had the opportunity to participate in an externship in South Africa where he worked with game animals as well as assisted in a rabies vaccination campaign in the outskirts of South Africa. He has 3 naughty French bulldogs named Killian Kain, Emma Eloise and Murphy Mae. Dr. Rossy Hernandez enjoys backpack traveling, BBQ’ing, hiking, spending time with family and spending time in the hot sun on the beaches of Florida and Puerto Rico.

Dr. Erica Arms
Veterinarian
Dr. Arms obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in biology at the University of North Florida. She attended veterinary school in St. Kitts, West Indies where she adopted her 'island' dog, Kitt. She then completed her clinical year at the University of Florida. Dr. Arms has always loved being around animals and was a veterinary technician for 7 years before becoming a veterinarian. When she isn't helping animals, Dr. Arms likes to retreat away with her husband and pup, and binge on Netflix shows.

Melissa Price
Practice Manager
Melissa has called Banfield home for over 10 years. She has a master's degree in public health from the University Of South Florida. Originally born and raised in New York City, Melissa has traveled all over the Banfield world with her Navy husband. Together they have 3 dogs and a little boy. 2 of her dogs are Mexican hairless dogs (yes, just like Dante in Coco) and her husband brought a rescue home from one of his deployments in the Middle East. In her off time, she enjoys spending time with her family, Disney, the beach, kayaking, and exploring local history, culture, and food. Please, feel free to ask for her by name and she would love to meet and greet with any questions, inquiries, or small chat. Melissa loves showing off her family while getting to know clients and their pets.

Shift Lead
Born in Waukegan, Illinois and raised in Middleburg, Florida, Melissa started with Banfield in 2017 where she finally put her love for animals into her daily life. She started out as a Client Service Coordinator and is now Shift Lead of this location, where she strives to keep moving up with the company. When Melissa is not at work meeting your sweet pets, she is at home spending time with her two sons, husband, dog (Titan) and two cats (Milo and CJ).

Ashley was born and raised in Peoria, IL. She moved to Jacksonville, FL in 2019 and shortly after started with Banfield. Ashley has been a VA since 2017 in her senior year of high school when she decided to further her career in a profession she is passionate about. She intends to become a CVT within the next couple years. Ashley currently has one dog, Shiloh, and hopes to have many more!

Nia was born and raised in Puerto Rico, carrying the language with her to Jacksonville Florida. She has always loved dogs and owns 9 dogs herself along with two mighty cats. Working at Banfield has given her a blessed opportunity to get to meet new furry faces and be able to understand and share mutual feelings with clients. Nia loves chatting about animals with anyone, anytime. Her favorite hobby is taking her 3 best friends, Tisha, Estel and Sora to the dog park, the beach and nature trails. Banfield has given Nia an opportunity to learn to take care of her own animals as well as others since 2018 and she hopes to continue her career advancement from Client Service Coordinator to a Veterinary Assistant in the near future.

Although native to California, Ashley moved to Florida with her family when she was just a little girl and has resided here for most of her life. She has been part of the Banfield family since 2015 and hopes to continue the Penn Foster CVT program in the near future. Having a passion for animals before entering into this field, Ashley has been blessed with amazing volunteer opportunities, including with a local rabbit rescue. She has her own pets including two cats, Dwight and OhGee, and her Daisy dog, who will forever be her "shotgun rider". When she is not at work or chasing her rambunctious, yet loving toddler around the house, she can usually be found in her garden with a mug of Oolong tea and the latest bestseller in her hand.
