Dr. Evelyn Caballero-Quiñones
Veterinarian
Dr. Caballero-Quiñones knew from a very young age that she wanted to be a veterinarian. She was born and raised in Puerto Rico and graduated from Iowa State University with a bachelor's degree in animal science. She went on to earn her DVM from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in Basseterre, Saint Kitts. Dr. Caballero enjoys educating clients as well nurturing her special interest in behavior and dermatology. She is also fully bilingual and loves to practice veterinary medicine in Spanish. In her free time, she loves to spend time outdoors with her husband, three kids and her dog, Susa. Hobbies include cooking for her family, cake decorating and sports.

Dr. Jennifer Giraldin
Veterinarian
Dr. Jennifer Giraldin grew up rescuing cats and dogs and riding horses in Southern California. At a very young age she knew that she wanted to transform her love for animals into a career in veterinary medicine. She attended Kansas State University on an equestrian scholarship and remained there for veterinary school. After a few cold winters, she decided to find somewhere warmer and relocated to Florida. She spends most of her free time riding horses and playing with her dog, Masi.

Melanie Masdea
Practice Manager
Melanie earned a bachelor's degree in psychology as well as a bachelor's degree in biology from the University of North Florida. She is currently working on her Veterinary Technician Certification through Penn Foster. She has worked in the veterinary field for 13 years and has been with Banfield for the past 7 years. Melanie is also an avid horseback rider and enjoys the sport of mounted shooting in her spare time. She also has a keen interest in birds and reptiles and enjoys spending time with her family, kayaking and finding sharks teeth on the beach.

Robin Rudnicki
Veterinary Assistant
Robin has been with Banfield since 2002, in many roles at many hospitals, but is currently a veterinary assistant. She enjoys being able to visit and work at other Banfield locations as she enjoys meeting new team members that share the same passion for helping pets and pet parents. She moved to Jacksonville Beach from Ormond Beach about 2 1/2 years ago and loves being near the ocean. Robin has 2 rescue dogs, Rogue and Dozer, and a 16-year-old snake named Lestat. In her free time, she enjoys kayak fishing, volunteering for several local non profit groups, and cooking fancy food at home. Robin is passionate about this field because she believes pets are family!

Odalys Ferrer
Veterinary Technician
Odalys is originally from Puerto Rico and have been living in the states for the past 12 years. She graduated from PIMA Medical Institute in California in 2013 where she earned her degree in applied science. Today she is a certified veterinary technician and has been on the field for 9 years. Odalys did her externship at Banfield back in 2013 and worked for Banfield for over 1 year. Looking to expand her knowledge, she moved on to emergency medicine where she was able to grow and sharpened her technician skills. After a few years, Odalys rejoined our Banfield family and has been on our Jacksonville beach location since 2019. She enjoys the warm weather and the beautiful beaches in Florida.

Rebecca Gamble
Veterinary Assistant
Rebecca has been with Banfield on and off since 2014, and graduated from Sanford Brown with a degree in veterinary technology. She enjoys working out, and playing with her pets: Michelangelo (canine), Appa (canine) and Shredder (Feline), when she isn't study for her certifications. She hopes to complete her certification as a veterinary technician in August 2018 and apply to UF vet school soon afterward. GO Gators!!!!

Savanna is a Jacksonville native who joined the Banfield team in 2018. She is currently working towards her degree in environmental technology at Florida State College of Jacksonville. She previously worked at the Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens exploring her love for education and animals, and was part of the Marine Mammal Response team and volunteered with manatee rehabilitation. In her free time, Savanna enjoys singing karaoke, spending time outdoors with her dog, Marley Moo, and playing the ukulele.

Client Service Coordinator
Keersten has been in the veterinary field for 30 years and has held positions in almost every aspect of the business from technician to office management. She earned a degree in animal science from UMO in 1993 and was the operations manager for a humane society for 10 years before returning to Florida and starting with a small animal practice. She has a deep love of all animals but her favorite companions are her 2 dogs, Jack and Isabelle. In her spare time, Keersten enjoys camping and going to the beach with her son, Kam.
