Dr. Judith Koerselman
Veterinarian
Dr. Koerselman began her career at Banfield in Delray Beach in 2011 as a Veterinary Technician. During that time, she had the opportunity to work with and learn from some amazing doctors who ultimately inspired her to apply to veterinary school. In 2013, she was accepted to St. George's University in beautiful sunny Grenada. In the spring of 2017, she returned to the Delray Beach Banfield but this time as Dr. Koerselman. She has one lovely cat named Dora, yes..."Dora The Explorer", who loves traveling with her and going on walks.

Dr. Becky Bravo
Veterinarian
Dr. Bravo is a South Florida native and has worked with a variety of animals for over 15 years. After receiving her Bachelor of Science degree from Florida Atlantic University, she worked as a veterinary technician for several years, gaining additional experience with exotic pets and birds. To pursue her desire to become a veterinarian, Dr. Bravo attended the University Of Missouri College Of Veterinary Medicine. After graduating, she moved to Tampa where she settled into an amazing mentorship with her fellow doctors and two years later, she moved to Delray Beach. Her primary focus is being an advocate for her patients as well as client education. In her free time, she enjoys cooking and baking, kayaking and trail biking, going to concerts and festivals, making hand-made bath bombs, and spending time with Adam, a Boston Terrier named Abby, a Pacific Parrolet named Melvin, a betta named Henry.

Dr. Joseph Palmeri
Veterinarian
Dr. Joseph Palmeri, a native to Long Island, graduated from Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine. He was in private practice for 30 years with an interest in internal medicine and surgery. He threw away his snow shovel and moved to sunny south Florida to continue practicing his love of veterinary medicine under the palm trees. In his spare time, Dr. Palmeri enjoys traveling, swimming, bicycling and going to the beach. In addition, he loves to spend time at home with his wife, 2 dogs, 3 kids, and cat.

Thomas Turkin
Practice Manager
Thomas is originally from Georgia but moved to the sunshine state about 5 years ago and has been with Banfield since that time. He attended the University of Mississippi for business administration. Thomas grew up with and has always had a soft spot for huskies and malamutes. When not working, he enjoys traveling, hiking, exercising, fishing, boating, and almost anything to do with the water. He shares a hound/bernard mix named Sarah with his brother.

Heather Groeneveld
Shift Lead
Heather joined the Banfield Delray Beach team in January 2017 and is currently one of our hospital shift leads. She has had a passion for helping animals since she was very young and is currently studying to become a certified veterinary technician to further her education in the field. She is a lifelong Florida resident and a graduate of Florida Atlantic University. Some of her hobbies include cooking, hiking, and photography. Heather currently shares her home with her tabby cat, Rocky.

Perry Roberts
Shift Lead
Perry joined Banfield Delray in June of 2018 after completing her bachelor's in business administration at the University of Central Florida. She is currently enrolled in Penn Foster to further her education and become a certified veterinary technician. In her free time, she enjoys spending time outdoors, traveling and volunteering at animal shelters. She currently has two rescue dogs of her own, Oliver and Ooby!

Jacqueline Hernandez
Veterinary Assistant
Jacqueline has been a Veterinary Assistant since 2009 and joined Banfield in 2011. She will be pursuing her CVT though the Banfield Penn Foster program this year. She’s a sucker for dogs with floppy ears and has a 12-year-old English Cocker Spaniel named Daisy and a newly adopted beagle named Tucker Dukes. Jacqueline is also a bird lover and has a green lovebird named Tazu. She adores working with animals and the veterinary field, and wouldn’t want it any other way.

Fiorella Flynn
Veterinary Assistant
Fiorella is Peruvian and moved from Lima to Florida in 2014 where she met her loving husband. She had her first child in August 2018. She became a veterinarian in Peru in 2011, and hopes to further her education and pursue her career here. Fiorella started working as a veterinary technician in 2016, and she has a great passion for animals and their well-being. Her family has had many animals, including a lamb that she raised from birth to about 2 years old, a monkey she rescued from an abusive environment, and 5 dogs she's had throughout her life. Her career choice brings joy to her heart, knowing that she is an important part of a team of professionals who help pets!

Veterinary Assistant
Amanda has been with Banfield since April 2016 and absolutely loves helping pets. She was a licensed paramedic and licensed pharmacy technician before falling in love with working with animals. After working with people, Amanda fell into working for a private practice for 4 years before coming to her permanent home at Delray Beach Banfield. Her hobbies include kickboxing, playing with her son, and going on road trip adventures with her husband, son and family dog, Opie. One of Amanda's dreams is to retire with a few acres and open an all inclusive non for profit animal rescue.

Amanda was born and raised in our lovely sunshine state. She is currently working on earning a dual degree at Florida Atlantic University in neuroscience and behavior, and psychology. After graduation, she hopes to pursue a career as a veterinarian. When she has some free time, she loves listening to country music to relax and enjoys the company of her two parakeets, Mickey and Minnie.

Narisa has been with Banfield since early 2017 and absolutely loves helping pets. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology and plans to one day go back to school for an Anesthesiology Assistant program or Physician Assistant program. Narisa's hobbies include watching Netflix and eating food. She just moved to Florida from Wichita, Kansas so her little papillon, Lilly, is living back home with her father-in law, but she plans to get more pets soon.

Zoe joined Banfield in September 2018, and loves working with animals and enjoys being a part of their care. She is currently a full-time student at FAU majoring in neuroscience pre-med. Her hopes are to one day be an amazing surgeon! When not working or studying, Zoe loves to go to the beach, take dance and yoga classes, and volunteer at FAU's medical school!
