    The Banfield Pet Hospital of North Haven has spent a lot of time building strong partnerships with our pet owner clientele. We believe that the best way to help our pets maintain a high level of health is through a pet owner/pet care provider partnership. Through that partnership and through Banfield’s pet health care services, we can help keep North Haven’s pets happy and healthy.
    Whether your pet is in need of a routine check-up or surgery, our staff will do everything that they can to help keep your pet in the best health possible. North Haven’s Banfield is a trusted go-to for things pet health related.

    Dr. Irving C. Minott IV

    Chief of Staff

    Dr. Minott started his education at the University of Maine, where he received a BS in Animal and Veterinary Science with a concentration in pre-veterinary medicine. He continued his didactic study at Ross University College of Veterinary Medicine on St. Kitts Island in the Caribbean. His clinical and surgical training was completed through Auburn University in Alabama. He has been a veterinarian at Banfield since graduating in 2012. His main interest revolves around the surgical aspect of veterinary medicine, including dentistry and soft tissue procedures. He has one dog, “Nessie,” who was rescued during his time in the Caribbean, and five cats, Moo, Bella, Bob, Cassanova, and Buttons. More Details >>

    Dr. Laura Crawley

    Associate Veterinarian

    Dr. Crawley graduated from Saint George's University in 2010. She received her undergraduate degrees in biology and microbiology from NC State University in 2005. She has been with Banfield for five years, and has a Scottish terrier named Gus and two cats, Victoria and Fester. She loves traveling and living at the beach. More Details >>

    Dr. Terry Skogerboe

    Associate Veterinarian

    Dr. Skogerboe, a native of Iowa, is a 1979 graduate of Iowa State University. He began his career in veterinary medicine in Wisconsin, where he worked in a mixed animal practice for ten years. He then worked as a technical service veterinarian at Pfizer Animal Health for five years before moving into a research and development position working on antibiotic and anti-parasitic drug development. Dr. Skogerboe started with Banfield in 2015 as a relief veterinarian in Warrick, Rhode Island and then in July 2016, transferred to the North Haven location. Dr. Skogerboe has a strong professional interest in internal medicine with special interests in infectious diseases and parasitology. More Details >>

    Amber Hiser

    Practice Manager

    Amber is the Practice Manager for the North Haven, CT Banfield Pet Hospital. She has been with Banfield since January 2015. She has one dog named Darla and in her spare time, Amber enjoys traveling and going to the beach. Her favorite part of the work day is seeing and snuggling all the new puppies and kittens.     Malloree Forsythe

    Shift Lead

    Malloree has been an associate with Banfield since 2014 and was a veterinary and surgical assistant before being promoted to shift lead in early 2016. Malloree attended Quinnipac University and graduated with a bachelor's degree in veterinary technology. She has a Great Dane named Jake (affectionately referred to as Jakey Bear) and a cat named Mr. Jones (also answers to Meow Meow). More Details >>
