    The Banfield Pet Hospital of North Haven has spent a lot of time building strong partnerships with our pet owner clientele. We believe that the best way to help our pets maintain a high level of health is through a pet owner/pet care provider partnership. Through that partnership and through Banfield’s pet health care services, we can help keep North Haven’s pets happy and healthy.
     
    Whether your pet is in need of a routine check-up or surgery, our staff will do everything that they can to help keep your pet in the best health possible. North Haven’s Banfield is a trusted go-to for things pet health related. 
     
    Banfield Pet Hospital is always accepting new pet patients and same day access appointments may be available. Don’t forget to ask our staff about the Optimum Wellness Plan® options we offer to our North Haven guests.

    Dr. Irving C. Minott IV

    Chief of Staff

    Dr. Minott started his education at the University of Maine, where he received a BS in Animal and Veterinary Science with a concentration in pre-veterinary medicine. He continued his didactic study at Ross University College of Veterinary Medicine on St. Kitts Island in the Caribbean. His clinical and surgical training was completed through Auburn University in Alabama. He has been a veterinarian at Banfield since graduating in 2012. His main interest revolves around the surgical aspect of veterinary medicine, including dentistry and soft tissue procedures. He has one dog, “Nessie,” who was rescued during his time in the Caribbean, and five cats, Moo, Bella, Bob, Cassanova, and Buttons. More Details >>

    Dr. Laura Crawley

    Veterinarian

    Dr. Crawley graduated from Saint George's University in 2010. She received her undergraduate degrees in biology and microbiology from NC State University in 2005. She has been with Banfield for five years, and has a Scottish terrier named Gus and two cats, Victoria and Fester. She loves traveling and living at the beach. More Details >>

    Dr. Brian Lang

    Veterinarian

    Dr. Lang joined the North Haven team after previously working at our Plainville branch for two years. He completed a B.S. degree in animal science at Clemson University in 2012 and his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine at the University College Dublin in Ireland in 2016. He has a strong interest in veterinary dentistry and has completed extra training at the Animal Dental Training center in Baltimore, Maryland. Dr. Lang has an Australian shepherd named Sawyer, a border collie mix named Layla, and a Maine coon named Luna. In his free time, he enjoys going to the beach with his wife and two dogs, birding, wildlife photography, and painting. Bring your pet in to meet Dr. Lang and the team today! More Details >>

    Dr. Derek Marotta

    Veterinarian

    Dr. Marotta started his educational journey here at home with the University of Connecticut receiving a B.S. degree in animal science with a minor in mathematics. He continued his veterinary studies at Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine on the Virginia Tech campus. During his clinical year at veterinary school, he completed rotations all over the country including California, Colorado, North Carolina, Maryland, and Virginia. As a recent 2018 graduate, he still maintains his passion for all sciences and research. Dr. Marotta’s favorite animals are cats and dogs with a small menagerie at home including a German Shepherd, Rex, and seven cats, Tarzan, Mew, Footns, Beepers, Kitten, Falcon, and Smokey.     Malloree Forsythe

    Practice Manager

    Malloree has been an associate with Banfield since 2014, and was a veterinary and surgical assistant before being promoted to shift lead in early 2016. In 2017, she was promoted to Practice Manager and able to remain at the North Haven location with her great 1938 team! Malloree attended Quinnipac University and graduated with a bachelor's degree in veterinary technology. She has a Great Dane named Jake (affectionately referred to as Jakey Bear; he is a very old and distinguished gentle giant) and a cat named Mr. Jones (also answers to Meow Meow; a chunky and loveable kitty). She loves being able to be a voice for the pets here at Banfield and working towards creating a great environment for the clients and patients that visit us. More Details >>

    Amy Sullivan

    Shift Lead

    Amy has been with the North Haven Banfield team since 2016 before being promoted to shift lead. She took a veterinary assistant course at Middlesex Community College and is currently working on getting certified as a veterinarian technician with Penn Foster. She has two cats named Ralph (the old man and best snuggler) and Rudy (the round one who loves you from afar).
