Dr. Allison Wolfel
Associate Veterinarian
Dr. Wolfel is a Colorado native, originally from Denver, and attended college at New York University in 2009. She worked with horses following graduation in Maine, Virginia, and Colorado and lived in Dublin, Ireland prior to graduating from Colorado State University's veterinary program in 2017. She completed a rotating small animal medical and surgical internship at Kansas State University, and then moved back home to work for Banfield at The Orchards. Her professional interests include ophthalmology and preventive medicine. In her free time, she loves to hike and play with her 5-year-old Aussie mix, Freyja, and relax with her 2 cats, Tobey and Link. She's an avid baker, loves books and movies, and spends time riding horses and exploring her home state from downtown breweries to the mountains.

Dr. Madoka Callicutt
Part-time Associate Veterinarian
Dr. Callicutt grew up in Boulder, Colorado where she was lucky enough to have a variety of pets that fostered her love of animals. She obtained her undergraduate degree from Kalamazoo College and spent six wonderful months abroad in Scotland. She received her veterinary degree from the University of Illinois School of Veterinary Medicine in 2014. Since graduating, she had been working at a 24 hour urgent care animal clinic in Wisconsin, but is very happy to be back to Colorado and being a part of the Banfield family. When not practicing veterinary medicine, she enjoys photography, reading and traveling, as well as spending time with her lionhead rabbit, Watson, and her husband, Dave.

Jenny Turner
Practice Manager
Jenny's passion for pets started young and was leading her into the veterinary field. She started in emergency care and decided that being a technician was more of her passion. She has a degree in environmental science, but the love for pets kept her in the animal field. Jenny started with Banfield in 2001 in Chicago and moved to Colorado in 2005, and she has decided this is the last move. She and her husband share their home with Rocky, a boxer/American Eskimo, and cats, Bacardi, Moonshine and Smirnoff. When not working, she enjoys anything outdoors including hiking, rafting, backpacking, running, snowshoeing, skiing, and traveling.

Tamara Knapp, CVT
Shift Lead
Tamara received her Associate of Applied Science degree from Bel-Rea Institute of Animal Technology in December of 2011 and has been working at Banfield since January 2012. She believes in preventive care, and enjoys educating clients about preventive care and their pets. She started her career late in life but feels it has been worth the wait! Tamara has 6 dogs including a rough coat collie, a toy poodle, a Pomeranian, a Dachshund (who is blind and deaf from birth), and 2 Chihuahuas. She also has 2 cats (a Sphinx and a domestic short hair), 3 birds (a female Eclectis, a Harlequin Macaw, and a Jardine Parrot), 2 sulcata tortoises, and a predator salt water tank and a coral salt tank.

Jazzmynn Marfil
Shift Lead
Jazzmynn was born and raised in Colorado. Her love for animals started young and she has always had a companion by her side. Jazzmynn attended school for dental assisting but shortly after finishing she realized that was not where her heart was and decided to purse a career working with animals. She then started with Banfield as a CSC and worked her way to the back of the hospital as a veterinary assistant. She is currently attending school to become a certified veterinary technician. In her spare time, Jazzmynn enjoys spending time with her family including her husky/German Shepherd, border collie and cat.

Shelby Rougier
Veterinary Assistant
Shelby was born and raised in the suburbs of Denver, and is going to school to become a Certified Veterinary Technician. She has 2 boxers and 2 cats. Her first dog, also a boxer, was at the vet at least twice a month with problems. That's when Shelby realized her love for animals and wanted to be able too give them the best care she could. Shelby has been at Banfield for just a short time but is living her dream each day providing love and care for pets brought in for care.

Heather Kraffert
Veterinary Assistant
Heather spent the majority of her childhood in Colorado, and then left after graduating high school to travel the country with her military husband. They spent a few years in Texas and Virginia before finally coming back home. Heather has a bachelor's degree in biology from Old Dominion University and has spent several years pursuing animal behavior and well-being. She recently decided to become a veterinary assistant to learn more about helping pets stay healthy with preventive care. In her free time, Heather enjoys window shopping, trying out new restaurants, and ultimately spending time with friends and family. She and her husband have a rottweiler named Clyde, a Maine coon named George, and a short-haired tabby named Chloe. She is stoked to be a part of the Banfield family!

Katy Lipstein
Veterinary Assistant
Katy was born in San Diego and moved to Broomfield when she was 11 years old. She graduated from CSU in 2009 with a degree in biology and zoology, and a minor in Spanish and then she moved to Hawaii to train dolphins. In 2010, Katy moved to South Carolina where she lived for 8 years and began working at a Banfield. She moved back to the Denver area in the Summer of 2018 with her husband, son and pets, and is excited to be back at Banfield working with animals again. Katy enjoys swimming, playing soccer, running races and playing with her sons, and she and her family enjoy traveling around the world.

Rochelle is a newfy lover, and enjoys fishing and hiking in her spare time. She has a golden retriever/great Pyrenees mix named Izzy and a domestic short hair cat named Ava. Rochelle also has a child named Isaiah who is in love with Izzy and Ava!

Chelsea is a Colorado native who has had animals her entire life. She never expected to be able to work in the veterinary field due to her soft heart, but she's so glad that she found this field. When she is not at work, she can be found drawing (including tattooing), reading, and playing video games. She lives with her younger sibling, and her husband, and their 7 cats: Castiel, Bellatrix, Katniss, Calcifer, Ignis, Poe, and Nuka.
