    Dr. Amber Weinke

    Associate Veterinarian

Dr. Weinke was born and raised in sunny Southern California where she earned her bachelor's degree in biological science from Chapman University. She taught marine education for several years on Catalina Island but always knew her passion was with animals. She received her DVM from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and completed her clinical year at Louisiana State University. Dr. Weinke's Banfield career began in 2016 and her medical interests include surgery, rehabilitation and preventive care. The beauty and outdoor adventures of Colorado drew her here along with her Caribbean adopted furry friends, Kyland and Keaton, and southern comfort rescue, Kajun. On days off, you can find Dr. Weinke snowboarding, hiking or couch surfing with a good movie. More Details >>

    Jenny Turner

    Practice Manager

Jenny's passion for pets started young and was leading her into the veterinary field. She started in emergency care and decided that being a technician was more of her passion. She has a degree in environmental science, but the love for pets kept her in the animal field. Jenny started with Banfield in 2001 in Chicago and moved to Colorado in 2005, and she has decided this is the last move. She and her husband share their home with Rocky, a boxer/American Eskimo, and cats, Bacardi, Moonshine and Smirnoff. When not working, she enjoys anything outdoors including hiking, rafting, backpacking, running, snowshoeing, skiing, and traveling. More Details >>

Tamara has 6 dogs including a rough coat collie, a toy poodle, a Pomeranian, a Dachshund (who is blind and deaf from birth), and 2 Chihuahuas. She also has 2 cats (a Sphinx and a domestic short hair), 3 birds (a female Eclectis, a Harlequin Macaw, and a Jardine Parrot), 2 sulcata tortoises, and a predator salt water tank and a coral salt tank.
