Dr. Mary Carson
Veterinarian
Dr. Carson earned a bachelor’s in biology and environmental science from Georgetown College and a master’s in Wildlife from Purdue University. Dr. Carson started her career working for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. Personal circumstances with her cat, Chelsea, lead to an interest in veterinary medicine. In 2004, she received her veterinary degree from Colorado State University. Dr. Carson has worked in Oregon and Colorado as a veterinarian, and her professional interests include preventive care, soft tissue surgery and client education. In her personal time, Dr. Carson spends quality time with her husband, Brad, and two children by taking as many camping trips and enjoying as many National Parks as possible. She loves to go hiking, camping, backpacking, practicing yoga, and reading science and historical fiction.

Dr. Emily Reith
Veterinarian
Dr. Reith graduated with her DVM degree from Colorado State University in 2015 and spent her first few years after graduation working in emergency medicine and surgery before transitioning to general practice. Her professional interests include internal medicine, emergency and critical care, and preventive medicine. She loves getting to know her patients and following their progress over time! Prior to entering the veterinary field, Dr. Reith earned a master's degree in chemistry from the University of Colorado, Boulder and taught high school and college chemistry. In her free time, she enjoys hanging out with her dogs, hiking, geocaching, sewing, and raising puppies for Guide Dogs for the Blind. She is currently raising her 12th puppy for the program, a black Labrador named Winston.

Dr. Nikki McComb
Veterinarian
Dr. McComb received her bachelor’s degree in biology from Northeastern University in 2011 and then spent several years working in the veterinary field as a technician before pursing her DVM degree. She earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degree from Kansas State University in 2017 and then completed a small animal rotating internship at VCA Alameda East in Denver. Her professional interests include diagnostic imaging and exotic animal medicine. Dr. McComb can occasionally be found doing relief work at local emergency hospitals, and she enjoys hiking with her husband, baking sweet treats, cooking Italian food and karaoke!

Dr. Kelly Coates
Veterinarian
Dr. Kelly Coates earned a bachelor's degree in biology from Maryville College in 2002 and then graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine in 2006. She spent the following year at Georgia Veterinary Specialist completing a small animal rotating internship and then worked for 11 years at a private family practice in the heart of midtown Atlanta, GA, her hometown. Dr. Coates' professional interests include dermatology, dentistry, behavioral medicine and feline medicine. In her spare time, you can find her with her husband, Matt; 3 young, beautiful kids; and their energetic Laborador/retriever mix, Chase. They enjoy playing and watching soccer, hiking, and checking out local Colorado food, festivals, and fairs.

Nicole Christensen-Finger
Veterinary Technician
Nicole graduated with her degree in Veterinary Technology in 2017 and has been with Banfield since 2013. She went back to school to realize her dream of working with animals after teaching elementary school for ten years. Nicole enjoys spending time with her husband and their three children, hanging out with their animals, horseback riding, working with children, and reading. She is the Cats and Pocket Pets Youth Superintendent for the Adams County 4H program. Her own menagerie includes a horse, two miniature horses, three goats, two cats, four rabbits and a parrot!
