    Dr. Miles Sklar

Dr. Miles Sklar moved to Colorado Springs from north Mississippi in the fall of 2016 and has been enjoying it since. He has 2 dogs, Louis the terrier and Hiro the Corgi; they have both adapted from the heat of the south to loving the mountain snow. Out of the clinic, Dr. Sklar enjoys the outdoors, hiking, seeing concerts and spending time at home relaxing. His favorite part of veterinary medicine is meeting clients and being able to help them by caring for their furry family members. More Details >>

    Dr. Audrey Washburn

Dr. Audrey Washburn was born in North Carolina and has lived much of her life in Virginia. She received a B.S. degree in natural resources from Cornell University and a M.S. degree in wildlife ecology and conservation from the University of Florida. Thus began a career in wildlife biology where she climbed very tall skinny trees to put radio tags on young hawks, then flew around South America trying to find their radio signals after they migrated. Birds were great, but she found she wanted to spend more time with people, so she decided to become a vet. To turn her veterinary training into an adventure she went to Massey University Vet School in New Zealand. She just moved to beautiful Colorado with her husband, Bryan, and she is VERY excited to hike in the mountains with her dogs, Max and Cocoa. The bird, Chewy, and cat, Floki, are very jealous since they can't go outside. More Details >>

    Dr. Amanda Hensen

Growing up competing in El Paso County, 4-H allowed for Dr. Hensen to discover her passion for animals. She also focused on animal welfare and western heritage while promoting the El Paso County Fair and the Pikes Peak or Bust Rodeo as a rodeo queen. Being a Colorado Springs native, Dr. Hensen is excited to be back home after pursuing her educational endeavors. She graduated from Colorado State University with Bachelor of Science degrees in both animal science and equine science. She then completed her veterinary business certificate and her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at Midwestern University in Phoenix, Arizona. Dr. Hensen’s professional interests include pathology and epidemiology, and she takes pride in connecting with clients and their beloved pets in the exam room. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys spending time with her husband, son, horses, dogs who might as well be horses, and her cats! More Details >>
