    Dr. Elizabeth Sagen


    Dr. Elizabeth Sagen graduated from Colorado State University in 2013. She enjoys providing preventive health care and surgical services for pets of all ages, and particularly likes to discuss socialization and training at new puppy visits to set the foundation for a long and happy life with their owners. Outside of work, Dr. Sagen enjoys spending time with her husband and infant daughter, two dogs, cat, and horse. She is also an avid trail runner. More Details >>

    Dr. Dorna Khamsi


    Dr. Dorna Khamsi is a graduate of Colorado State University's Professional Veterinary Medicine program, but practiced in Las Vegas, Nevada prior to moving back to Fort Collins and joining Banfield in the Fall of 2016. While she loves all animals, she has a special affinity for working with dogs and cats, and really understands the special bond owners have with their pets. Dr. Khamsi enjoys spending time with her boyfriend, Kevin, and their dogs, Afie, Penny, and Mayson, and kitty, Abbie.     Dr. Danielle Lagana


    Dr. Danielle Lagana is a 2013 graduate of Colorado State University Veterinary Medical School. As a veterinary student, she was awarded Merial and Morris Animal Foundation grants to study infectious disease in wild and domestic cats. Dr. Lagana joined Banfield in Bozeman, Montana in 2013 and transferred to the Fort Collins location in 2015. She loves Fort Collins and is thrilled to serve the community as a small animal veterinarian. Her professional interests include internal medicine, preventive care, and dentistry. She enjoys promoting the human-animal bond by partnering with pet owners during all life-stages of their dog or cat. Outside of the hospital, she enjoys skiing, backpacking, cycling, crossfit, and spending time with her growing family and their 10-year-old Aussie Shepherd mix. More Details >>

    Christopher Wieck

    Practice Manager

    Chris has been with Banfield for 2 years in the Longmont and Fort Collins locations. He has over 12 years of management experience and was also a UPS driver for 15 years in Vermont. Providing for others and seeing the smile on their faces keeps driving him to deliver excellent customer service to all our clients and their pets. Chris also strives to ensure that our staff is the most highly trained in delivering on what Banfield stands for and to ensure every client has an amazing experience here in Fort Collins.     Certified Veterinary Technician

    Hannah is from a small town in southern New Hampshire. She earned an associate's degree in veterinary technology from Colorado Mountain College in Glenwood Springs back in 2016, and is currently a student at Colorado State University hoping to someday become a veterinarian. Some of her hobbies include drawing, dancing, playing the piano and hanging around the house with her two dogs, Chanel and Lola!     Kristina is originally from Milwaukee, WI and moved to Fort Collins in 2000 with her family. She graduated with an Associate of Science degree from Front Range Community College and then transferred to Colorado State University in 2012. Kristina graduated from CSU with a B.S. degree in zoology where she also worked in research for 4 years before coming to Banfield in Fort Collins.     Kyle Hudick

    Veterinary Assistant

    Kyle has been a veterinary assistant for almost seven years. He started his career working for a small animal private practice outside of Philadelphia, PA. He has an associate's degree in liberal arts and is currently working on a bachelor's degree in biology. When not taking care of all the wonderful pets that come through Banfield's doors, Kyle loves staying active at the gym and going for runs. On quieter days, he'll plant himself in front of his high-powered gaming PC. He has 2 pets including Kade, a 9-year-old German Shepherd, and Panthera (Pan for short), a 10-ish year old domestic shorthair cat.     Rachel was born in Salisbury, MD (not to be confused with Salisbury steak) but has lived in Fort Collins for several years. While interning at Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, she saw a job post for a veterinary assistant at Banfield and decided to apply. Guess what? It WORKED! When she was a kid, she told her parents she wanted to grow up and live with wolves. This statement still holds true to this day.     Cheyenne Davenport

    Veterinary Assistant

    Cheyenne grew up in Santa Clarita, CA and moved to Fort Collins in 2016, beginning her adventure at Banfield in January 2017. She also work at CSU Veterinary Teaching Hospital as an equine veterinary technician. Cheyenne has worked in both large and small animal hospitals, and her favorite part of veterinary medicine is dentistry! She loves meeting all of our clients' pets and being able to help and comfort them during their stay at the hospital.     Erin moved here from Michigan about a year ago and has been at Banfield ever since. She is currently finishing her bachelor's in psychology and marketing while also finishing her veterinary assistant certificate. She has a miniature pincher named Captain and an Akita/Shepard mix named Snickers. Erin grew up with cats and dogs and can't imagine life without them.
