Dr. Margo Maurer
Veterinarian
Dr. Margo Maurer graduated from Purdue University, School of Veterinary Medicine in 2010. After competing veterinary school, she moved from Indiana to California to practice for 2 years in equine medicine. Dr. Maurer also volunteered at the San Diego A.S.P.C.A. providing spay and neuter services for shelter pets. She joined Banfield in 2013 and has been Chief of Staff in Murrieta since October 2014. She will be dividing her time between the Murrieta hospital and the new Temecula Town Center stand alone. Dr. Maurer is interested in soft tissue surgery such as spays, neuters, cystotomies, etc

Dr. Megan Cooper
Veterinarian
Dr. Megan Cooper grew up in San Diego and received her Bachelor of Science degree from Cal Poly Pomona in animal science. She then obtained her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degree from University of California, Davis. Dr. Cooper has a loving husband, 2 young children, a dog, 2 cats and a Senegal parrot. She and her family enjoy camping and every year find new national parks to go visit and explore. Her interests include medicine, dentistry and soft tissue surgery.

Dr. Lani Steenhard
Veterinarian
Dr. Lani Steenhard was born in Southern California, and carried her dream of becoming a veterinarian from California to Australia. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in animal science from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, studied abroad in New Zealand, and received her veterinary degree from the University of Sydney in Australia. Her veterinary interests include internal medicine, preventive medicine, and the One Health Initiative. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends. Her dog from Australia loves being at the dog beach, as do her children and husband. She also enjoys taking lots of photos, and turning the memories into scrapbooks.

Dr. Lori Post
Veterinarian
Dr. Post completed her veterinary degree at the University of California, Davis in 2014. After graduating, she spent 3 years working as a veterinarian in Florida before returning to California. She started working with Banfield in June 2018. Dr. Post has a special interest in feline medicine and focuses on fear free visits. When she is not working, Dr. Post enjoys spending time with her family and pets outdoors. She is owned by a feisty orange tabby named Mushu, and two dogs; River, a sheltie, and Mickey, a chihuahua/dachshund mix.

Jaennie Miller
Registered Veterinary Technician
Jeannie Miller decided she wanted to work with animals after a significant loss in her family. Animals were very healing to her and her children at that time. She decided she wanted to pay it forward and help animals in her community. She completed her Registered Veterinary Technician schooling at Platt College in Riverside California in 2017. She started working for Banfield in March of 2018. She loves working with Banfield Pets and particularly loves the Proactive approach to Veterinary medicine that Banfield provides. She has two cats Mouse and Milo and a Yorkshire Terrier, Lucy.

Sadie Quimilman
Registered Veterinary Technician
Sadie is one of our Registered Veterinary Technicians here. She became part of our team in September 2019, when she moved to the area, but has been with Banfield since January 2016. She graduated from a two year veterinary technology program at Stanbridge University in October of 2016, and became a fully registered technician after taking all exams in February of 2017. Between herself and her partner, they have a small zoo of animals which include: dogs, cats, guinea pigs, a tortoise and a chameleon. When she isn’t at home with all her animals you can find her enjoying new places to eat, exploring outdoors, or at Disneyland in her free time. She loves her career of being an RVT, and seeing her patients happy and healthy. Her favorite part of working for Banfield is being alive to watch the pets grow from puppies/kittens to healthy adults!
