    Dr. Cristina Smith received her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Iowa State University in 2011, and her Bachelor of Science degree from Cal State Long Beach. She has been at the Signal Hill location since 2011. A native to Southern California, Dr. Smith grew up in Ventura County and now resides in the city she loves, Long Beach. She is married with a baby daughter and two Chihuahuas. Dr. Smith appreciates preventive care medicine and strengthening the human animal bond.     Dr. Angela Watson graduated from Tuskegee University in 2012 and joined the Banfield team after completing her internship in large animal medicine and surgery. She originally hails from the DC/Maryland area, loves Chesapeake Bay blue crabs, and the Washington Redskins. Dr. Watson loves getting to know her clients and patients and sharing her passion for preventive medicine with them.     Dr. Christian Paxton


    Dr. Christian Paxton is a Southern California native who received his Bachelor of Science degree at Cal Poly Pomona with a concentration in animal science/pre-vet. He went on to complete his first three years of the Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degree at St. George's University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2016, with his clinical year rotations being completed at Auburn University School of Veterinary Medicine. Originally from Corona, California, Dr. Paxton now lives in Huntington Beach and enjoys spending time with his two adopted beagles, scuba diving, surfing, and working on his 1969 Volkswagen Bus.     Dr. Jessica Campbell hails from southern California and earned her bachelor's degree from San Francisco State University. She received her DVM from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and completed her clinical year at Iowa State University. Dr. Campbell has a passion for preventive care and is dedicated to meeting the needs of both pets and their humans. In her free time, you can find her running around with her kids at the park or beach.     Veterinary Assistant

    Diane started working as a veterinary assistant in 1989, and then became a stay at home mom for 10 years. She rejoined the veterinary field in 1999 working in private practice with 2 hospitals until 2005 when she semi retired to home school her then high school aged kids. She once again jumped back into veterinary medicine with Banfield Signal Hill in April 2016, where she remains today! Diane has 4 dogs, Reggie, Hubba, Wiz and Chico, and an African grey named Leela.
