Dr. Laura Chan
Veterinarian
Dr. Chan earned a bachelor's degree in biology from the University of California, Berkeley before attending and graduating from Western University of Health Sciences College of Veterinary Medicine. After veterinary school, she moved to the Bay Area with her cat, Monkey, and her two dogs, Mini and Kaiju. Dr. Chan is an avid paddler and enjoys outrigger canoe racing.

Dr. Andrew Peng
Veterinarian
Dr. Peng earned a bachelor's degree in anthropology and integrative biology at UC Berkeley before attending and graduating from the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine. After veterinary school, he returned to the Bay Area to be closer to his family and his parents two cats. Dr. Peng is an avid fan of his own two cats, Bun and Bao, who he taught to give him "high 5's".

Dr. Moses Bosire
Veterinarian
Dr. Bosire earned his DVM at the University of Nairobi, Kenya. He grew up on a farm and enjoyed working with all the different animals on the farm. It was there that he found his passion for making animals feel better and happy. Wanting to grow and expand his knowledge, he decided to move to the U.S. in 2005 where he pursued the rigorous ECFVG program for foreign veterinary graduates. Dr. Bosire started working with Banfield in 2013 and in his spare time, enjoys reading, spending time with his wife and 3 boys and volunteering in his community.

Jennifer Robinson
Practice Manager
Jenn has been with Banfield San Leandro since 2014 but in the veterinary field since 2003. She has worked in both small and large animal practices - emergency, specialty, general, & rehabilitation. She was born in Southern California in a small beach community and went to college in Ventura. Jenn has 3 dogs, Spike, Dutch, and Pookie, 2 cats, Garfield and Kalyra, and 3 ducks, Thing 1, Thing 2 (or Chocolate Thunder), and Hollywood. In her spare time, she likes to crochet, do various artistic things, and spend time with her husband and teenager. Jenn also volunteers with homeless people and their pets once a month, has worked with canine officers providing first aid training, and has delivered holiday meals to home bound seniors.

Veterinary Technician
Destiny is a Cal Poly San Luis Obispo alumni with a bachelor's degree in animal science and aspires to work closely with animals from a variety of backgrounds. She has worked and interned at the Oakland SPCA, Charles Paddock Zoo and Zoo to You Animal Sanctuary in Paso Robles. She graduated from Carrington College to pursue her career as a Registered Veterinary Technician. Destiny has two Chihuahuas, Kit-Kat and Bachoy, and a very mischievous little frenchie named Luha. In her spare time, she enjoys walking her dogs and drawing.

Patrick started as an intern at Banfield San Leandro while attending Carrington College's Veterinary Technology program. He shined as a hard working student and received his RVT license. Outside of Banfield, he enjoys watching professional wrestling and collecting toys.

She loves spending time with her dog, Macho. and in her spare time, practices Tae Kwon Do where she has obtained her black belt. Veterinary Assistant
Gena got a scholarship in theatrics for Miming. Yes, that is correct... white gloves, white face... performing mime! But she ended up going to Barean University where she earned her Minister's license. After working as a licensed Pastor for over 12 years and running a nonprofit organization specializing in helping teens in Junior and Senior high, she decided to change courses. In 2011, she moved to Colorado with her family where she landed a job at Banfield working in a completely new field. She loved working with pet parents and enjoyed being a part of their journey. She loves working at a place that allows her to be free, creative, and accepts her quirkiness. In her free time, Gena likes to build club houses with her kids and go hiking in the hills.

Lizette has worked for Banfield for a year. She started as an intern while attending Carrington College for her Veterinary Technician License and was hired on. She is currently attending Pima Veterinary Technician School and hopes to graduate soon. Lizette was born and raised in the San Leandro/Hayward area and she has two dogs, Luna and Princess. In her spare time, she likes photography.

Mariah is currently a veterinary technician student at Carrington College and will graduate November 2017. She has always had a passion for animals, ever since she was a young child, and has now accomplished her childhood dream of working as a VA. She plans to continue her career by working with exotic animals. After she graduates next year, she will begin traveling the world and working abroad. Mariah is also an artist and enjoys the outdoors. She recently adopted her kitten, Galaxy Bean, and they are a perfect match.

Socializing and caring for people and animals alike has always come natural to Paul. From a very early age, Paul could be found volunteering with local animal shelters and community outreach programs. Paul has two pets, a cat named Dorkus and a pit bull named Handsome. When not at work, Paul enjoys listening to and performing music, as well as spending time with his growing family. Paul also works away from Banfield as a private nutritionist/meal planner.
