Dr. Jennifer Hayden
Veterinarian
Dr. Hayden grew up in Culver City, CA and has lived in Berkeley, Oakland, Davis, LA, Poway and now downtown San Diego. She went to UC Berkeley for her undergraduate studies and went to UC Davis for veterinary school, where she graduated from in 2000. Dr. Hayden joined Banfield Pet Hospital in 2008 and has worked at a number of hospitals in the San Diego area. Point Loma is where she is now working full-time. Dr. Hayden's interests outside of work include traveling, riding bikes, knitting and spending time with her 2 and 4 legged family members. She currently has two cats, Georgia, who is 9 years old, and Eli, who is 14 years old.

Dr. Tyne Hovda
Veterinarian
Dr. Hovda was born and raised in the suburbs of Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minnesota, and attended college at Hollins University in Roanoke, Virginia where she graduated with a B.S. degree in biology in 2011. She then went on to veterinary school at Texas A&M University, graduating in 2015. Dr. Hovda joined Banfield in the fall of 2016 after completing an equine hospital internship in Kentucky. She has a special interest in cardiology, anesthesiology, and exercise physiology. In her spare time, Dr. Hovda enjoys spending time with her horse and dog, visiting family in Minnesota, watching college football, and learning to sail.

Dr. Amy Fraze graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine in 2004. She practiced emergency medicine in Maryville, Tennessee before coming to California and Banfield in 2017. Her interests include spending time with her 3 grandchildren, reading, and has been a competitive ballroom and west coast swing dancer.

Dr. Hasak grew up in Stamford, CT. She received her undergraduate degree in animal science from the University of Connecticut in 2014 and veterinary degree from Iowa State Universitry College of Veterinary Medicine in 2018. Dr. Hasak has special interests in ophthalmology and surgery. She spends her free time hiking, camping, roller blading, traveling, and enjoying new restaurants and food.
