We are located on Mission Gorge Road between Friars Road and Zion Avenue, in the Vons shopping center and down the street from Qualcomm Stadium.     Dr. Katie Turner

    Chief of Staff

    Dr. Turner grew up in Livermore, CA. She received her undergraduate degree in animal science from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, CA in 2006 and her doctorate in veterinary medicine from Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, CA in 2010. Dr. Turner worked at Banfield in Brea/Orange County after graduation before moving to San Diego with her husband, Chris in 2013. She worked at the Banfield of San Diego on Murphy Canyon Road before moving to the Banfield in Mission Gorge. Dr. Turner enjoys family activities with their 2 boys at the San Diego Zoo, Little Italy's Saturday morning Farmer's Market, and taking the dogs to the beach. She loves cooking, going out to eat, and enjoys the company of family and friends. She looks forward to running into clients and pets around town, and is excited to develop a sense of community with the Banfield of Mission Gorge and surrounding neighborhoods! More Details >>

    Dr. Elizabeth McCalley


    Dr. McCalley was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil but grew up near Dallas, TX. She obtained her bachelor's degree from Cornell University in 2011 and her veterinary degree from Texas A&M in 2015. Dr. McCalley began her veterinary career in Austin, TX at the Banfield Mueller hospital, where she worked until the spring of 2015. Her professional interests include internal medicine, ophthalmology and dentistry. Dr. McCalley is very excited to be in San Diego and looks forward to serving this community. Her personal interests include practicing yoga, running, hiking, camping, attending concerts and traveling. Dr. McCalley has a terrier mix named Coco. More Details >>

    Dr. Camila de Andino


    Dr. de Andino was born and raised in sunny San Juan, Puerto Rico. She earned her bachelor’s degree in economics with a minor in Italian at Fordham University in New York City. After graduation she began working at a stock brokerage firm, where she quickly realized that the world of finance was not her calling, her true passion was animal care. Caring for homeless animals and making sure they had a better life made her happy and so she decided to go to veterinary school. Dr. de Andino graduated from University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine with an interest in emergency and international relief. After graduating, she moved to San Diego to enjoy the perfect weather and began working at Banfield in the summer of 2016. When she is not working, Dr. de Andino is wiping out in the cold Pacific Ocean while learning to surf, relaxing at dog beach with her 3 rescue mutts, or going on hikes with her friends.     Kim Haworth, RVT

    Practice Manager

    Kim was born and raised in San Diego. She received her bachelor's degree in animal physiology and neuroscience at the University of California, San Diego in 2005 and started at Banfield Pet Hospital shortly after as a Pet Care Assistant. Kim received her Registered Veterinary Technician license and became a Practice Manager for Banfield in 2011. She enjoys developing and training associates and fellow Practice Managers through the San Diego market. She currently lives in San Diego with her husband, their young son CJ, a bearded dragon, a hamster and recently rescued a stray Maltese named Muffin. More Details >>
