Dr. Summer Griffin Moran
Veterinarian
Dr. Moran is a native San Diegan who graduated from San Diego State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology in 2003. She then attended Western University of Health Sciences College of Veterinary Medicine in Pomona, California. Dr. Moran graduated as a member of the charter class from Western University in 2007 with a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. She is currently a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA). During vet school, she was able to work with all creatures great and small, from dairy cows in Central California to horses at Santa Anita racetrack to mice at the City of Hope in Los Angeles to sea turtles in Hawaii. After school, Dr. Moran returned to San Diego and her true love of treating dogs and cats, and developed a love of bonding with clients and their pets. She believes that good communication skills are an important part of practicing quality medicine.

Lilia Conner
Practice Manager
Lilia has been with Banfield since May 2016 where she joined a hospital team in Seattle, Washington as a client service coordinator. Having a passion for team building and the daily operations and workflow of the hospital, she became the practice manager in 2017. She relocated in the summer of 2019 back to her hometown of San Diego and transferred with Banfield to continue working in the veterinary industry. She enjoys spending time with her two cats and her husband. They enjoy cooking, music, movies, and spending time with family and friends.

Helmy Bautista, RVT
Shift Lead
Helmy has been with Banfield Pet Hospital since April 2015, and has a Bachelor of Science degree in animal science from UC Davis. In her free time, she enjoys playing violin, watching movies, reading, and going to museums. Helmy has an older pitbull named Pinto, two guinea pigs, and two laying hens.
