    Dr. Kristina White

    Chief of Staff

    Dr. White completed her B.S. degree in pharmacology from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 2004. She received her veterinary degree from the Atlantic Veterinary College, Prince Edward Island, Canada in 2008. Before working in private practice, she finished two year-long internships: a Rotating Internship at the Veterinary Medical and Surgical Group in Ventura, California in 2009, and a Surgical Internship at the Louisiana Veterinary Referral Center in Mandeville, Louisiana in 2010. Dr. White joined Banfield in 2013. When not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Pomeranian named Sophie, and DMH named Makamba. She also enjoys endurance events like the Tough Mudder and Ragnar Relay, BBQs, leisure reading, and watching movies. More Details >>

    Dr. Sharon Corbman

    Veterinarian

    Dr. Corbman completed her B.S. degree in environmental science from the University of Rochester in 1997, and her B.A. degree in molecular cellular developmental biology from the University of Colorado, Boulder in 2009. She received her veterinary degree from Colorado State University and she has a special interest in veterinary medical acupuncture. When not working, Dr. Corbman loves spending time with her husband, daughter, and pets Bug (golden retriever), Nala (Siamese mix), and Pumpkin (DSH). She also enjoys participating in a number of outdoor activities such as hiking, snorkeling, biking, and Aikido (Japanese Martial Arts). More Details >>

    Dr. Kara Havens

    Veterinarian

    Dr. Havens completed her undergraduate degree locally from Point Loma Nazarene University in 2009 and is a 2013 graduate of St. George's University, Grenada, School of Veterinary Medicine. She began working as a relief doctor at a number of Banfield Pet Hospitals in the San Diego Market following graduation from veterinary school, and was hired to work as a full-time Associate Veterinarian in the Winter of 2014 at Banfield Pet Hospital, La Jolla. Her area of interest is veterinary public health. Away from work, her three dogs, Kenya (Basenji), Kasper (Basenji), Nutmeg (Pothound), and her cat, Binx (DSH) keep her busy. Dr. Havens is a native of San Diego and is fortunate to have a number of family members close by. She also enjoys playing the piano, bowling, writing, watching movies, spending time with friends, traveling, volunteering, and photography. More Details >>

    Dr. Nicole Zaranek

    Veterinarian

    Dr. Zaranek completed her B.S. degree in animal biology from the University of Guelph in 2013. She received her veterinary degree from the Ontario Veterinary College, Canada in 2016. Her special interests in veterinary medicine include nutrition and surgery. When not at work, Dr. Zaranek loves spending time hiking and at the beach with her black Labrador, Kaia.
