Dr. Peace grew up in Florence, SC and attended the University of South Carolina to receive her undergraduate degree. She spent a year volunteering at veterinary clinics and animal shelters (and bottle feeding two kittens that are still with her now) before going on to attend veterinary school at the University of Tennessee. Having always wanted to live in California, Dr. Peace moved out to the Bay Area and began working in small animal practice. She joined the Banfield team in 2015 and has worked at the Tracy and East Dublin branches. Dr. Peace's veterinary interests include behavior, nutrition, and feline medicine. Dr. Peace has three kitties that traveled with her from Tennessee, Percy, Sissy, and Millie, and she enjoys swimming, reading, hiking, and being with family.
