    Dr. Karen Tancuan

    Chief of Staff

    Dr. Karen Tancuan received her veterinary degree at Colorado State University in 1998 and started as a DVM at Banfield in Concord right after graduation. She was also involved in the Student Job Program with Banfield while in veterinary school. Dr. Tancuan became Chief of Staff at the Concord location in 2001, and certified in Veterinary Medical Acupuncture in 2015. Her hobbies include running, hiking, cooking, eating and sleeping!     Dr. Neha Saija

    Veterinarian

    Dr. Neha Saija has been with Banfield and living in Northern California for almost 3 years. She moved up before she got married and brought her two cats, Chance and Dexter, from Southern California where she was born and raised. Over the last 3 years Dr. Saija's family has grown to include one more pet, Bella, and her son, Aryan, who was born April 2016. Her passion is working with cats and in her free time, Dr. Saija enjoys spending time with her family, watching movies and traveling. More Details >>

    Dr. Carlin Kelly

    Veterinarian

    Dr. Kelly grew up in Chagrin Falls, OH and attended Mercyhurst College in Erie, PA. She went to veterinary school at The Ohio State University and completed an internship at Blue Ridge Equine Clinic in Charlottesville, VA. She then worked in equine practice in Richmond, VA for 3 years before moving to California. She is is excited for her new adventure in small animal practice!     Dr. Lindsay Williams

    Veterinarian

    Dr. Lindsay Williams earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2009 at Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She is an Iowa native, but married right after graduation and moved from Iowa to Walnut Creek, CA and started her veterinary career with Banfield in San Leandro. Since then, her husband’s career has necessitated several geographical moves, so she has worked at numerous Banfield hospitals. In April 2016, Dr. Williams moved from Charleston, SC to Dublin, CA and began working at the Banfield hospital in Concord. She and her husband have one son, Owen, who is 2 ½ and they are expecting another child, a girl, in April 2017. In her leisure time, Dr. Williams enjoys spending time with her son, baking, knitting, and reading. More Details >>

    Dr. Venkat Kuncharapu

    Veterinarian

    Dr. Venkat Kuncharapu received his veterinary degree at Acharya N G Ranga Agricultural University, India in 1996. He completed a one year clinical rotation program at Iowa State University and completed the ECFVG program, also at ISU. Dr. Kuncharapu joined Banfield in 2006 and has worked at various locations in the Bay Area. His hobbies include cycling, reading, and watching animal planet TV programs. More Details >>

    Dr. Diana Beam

    Veterinarian

    Dr. Beam grew up on a farm and was always interested in animal care and medicine. She received her undergraduate degree in animal nutrition and her DVM from Ohio State University. Since graduating from veterinary school, Dr. Beam has practiced in a combination of small animal private practices and part-time in emergency medicine. After moving to California and staying at home for approximately 10 years, she came back into practice at Banfield. In the spring of 2015, Dr. Beam took an acupuncture class at the Chi Institute and since fall 2016, she has been working towards a master's degree in Chinese medicine.     Dr. Lauren Quirino

    Veterinarian

    Dr. Lauren Quirino graduated from U.C. Davis with a B.S. degree in biological sciences, emphasis in microbiology, and a minor in animal science. She went on to study veterinary medicine with a focus on small animals at Ross University in the West Indies, where she adopted her black island cat, Chauncey. Dr. Quirino completed her clinical year at Oklahoma State University before finally returning to her home in the San Francisco Bay Area.
