Dr. Brianna Welch
Dr. Brianna Welch grew up in North County San Diego. She received her undergraduate degree in molecular cellular biology from California State University, San Marcos and her doctorate of veterinary medicine from Ross University. Dr. Welch worked in private practice for a year before joining Banfield in 2013. She has a special interest in soft tissue surgery and dentistry. When not working, she can be spotted at the park or beach with her husband and son. She enjoys traveling to other countries, brewing beer, (attempting) to play volleyball, golf and soccer, and playing with her pets; Devereaux (a 8-year-old mixed breed dog), Duke and Fitz (6-year-old domestic short hair cats).

Dr. Mark Witt
Dr. Mark Witt was born and raised in a small town in Southwestern Montana. Following high school, he received a bachelor’s degree in animal science from Montana State University followed by his doctor of veterinary medicine from Washington State University in 2014. After veterinary school, Dr. Witt worked in private practice in Escondido for a year before joining Banfield in 2015. His professional interests include soft tissue surgery, ultrasound, and internal medicine. Dr. Witt also believes that veterinary medicine is a team effort and enjoys educating clients on medical issues and offering all available options for the best care of the pet. Outside of work, Dr. Witt enjoys sunny San Diego with his wife, Jen (also a veterinarian working with Banfield), and their son, Chase. The Drs. Witt also have 3 cats, Puck, Spaz, and Rio, and a dog, Mya. Outside of work, the Witt family enjoys camping, fishing, beach time, and traveling.
