    Dr. Danny Skirvin

    Chief of Staff

    Dr. Danny Skirvin grew up in Central Illinois and attended undergraduate and veterinary school at the University of Illinois. Upon graduation, in 2006 he escaped the cold and humidity of Illinois to come out to Arizona. He has bounced between general practice and emergency work, and then finally found roots at Banfield in 2013. In 2014, he became Chief of Staff at this hospital. Dr. Skirvin has 2 wonderfully cute daughters, 2 hooligan dogs (a pit bull named Triton and a husky named Tiana), and 2 goofy cats (Sebastian and Keira.) More Details >>

    Dr. Edwina Gutierrez


    Dr. Gutierrez was born and raised in the mountains of northern New Mexico. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in biology with a minor in environmental science from New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology in Socorro, NM. She graduated from the professional veterinary medicine program at Colorado State University in 2014 and has been with Banfield since graduation. She lives in Surprise with her husband, their two young children and cat. Her interests outside of caring for animals includes reading, going to the zoo with her family, swimming and watching movies at the movie theater. More Details >>

    Dr. Gretchen Mansfield


    Dr. Mansfield is an Arizona native, born and raised in Tucson. After graduating from Colorado state University in 2003 with a bachelor's in equine science, she began working for an equine veterinarian as a receptionist and office manager. Experience in this practice was the deciding factor to pursue a degree in veterinary medicine. Re-enrolling in school at the University of Arizona she completed a second bachelor's degree in veterinary science and minor in chemistry in 2008. Immediately following, she attended The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. After graduation in 2012, she moved home to AZ and joined an ambulatory equine practice in Tucson. She joined Banfield in late 2013. Dr. Mansfield enjoys spending time on small projects, attending equine related sporting events, and other adventures with her husband, their 2 horses, 2 dogs, and cat, Hank. More Details >>
