    Dr. Jocelyn Richardson


    Dr. Jocelyn Richardson is a native of Dothan, Alabama. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in animal and dairy sciences from Auburn University. She went onto pursue a Master of Science degree in food and animal sciences from Alabama A & M University. She then returned to Auburn University’s College of Veterinary Medicine and completed her veterinary degree. Dr. Richardson completed a small animal rotating internship at MedVet Memphis (currently Memphis Veterinary Specialists).     Dr. Jessica Schuster


    Dr. Schuster grew up in Akron, NY spending most of her free time as a licensed wildlife rehabilitator, caring for injured, ill, and orphaned wildlife with her mother. This experience greatly impacted her love for conservation medicine. She graduated from Medaille College in Buffalo, NY in 2013 as a licensed veterinary technician and immediately pursued her doctorate degree at The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine graduating in 2017. She then moved down to Fort Rucker, AL with her husband, who is currently training to become a helicopter pilot through the Army, and started with Banfield. Dr. Schuster has traveled around the world to experience different cultures and aspects of veterinary and conservation medicine, specifically Thailand, Belize, and South Padre Island. Given the passion she has for a variety of different species, she aspires to one day become a zoo veterinarian. More Details >>

    Antonio Coleman

    Practice Manager

    Antonio worked as a Veterinary Assistant in private practice prior to joining Banfield in October 2007, and started his career in Practice Management in 2011. He enjoys talking to clients about their pets and working with his team to create a comfortable environment for pets in the hospital team's care. Additionally, he has spent the last 13 years creating partnerships with pet rescue and adoption shelters; volunteering to clean, feed and give love and attention to pets waiting to be adopted. In 2013, the City of Dothan recognized Antonio for his charitable contributions to the local city shelter where hundreds of pets were able to receive quality veterinary care. He has five pets, 3 dogs (two Pomeranians and one Silky Terrier) and two cats. More Details >>

    Veterinary Assistant/Shift Lead

    Jessica joined the Banfield team in 2013 as a Client Service Coordinator and with hard work and dedication, was promoted to Veterinary Assistant. She continued to work hard, demonstrated her dedication and natural ability to be a leader of the medical team, and in January 2014 was promoted to Shift Lead. Her experience includes 6 years in private practice where she assisted in the everyday operations of a flourishing hospital. In her spare time, Jessica enjoys watching LSU football, photography, and spending time with friends and family including her two dachshunds (Suzie and Juno), Yorkie (Ellie), German short hair (Sunny) and African Grey (Clarice).     Whitney Zurenda

    Veterinary Assistant

    Whitney joined the team in September 2015 as a Veterinary Assistant. Her experience includes assisting in the management and upkeep of an equine farm in Marianna, FL. She has had a love for animals since she was a small girl, always dreaming of a career in animal husbandry. Her passion really grew once she joined 4-H and was able to train and show her dogs, goats, sheep and llamas. She is a Certified Equine Sports Massage Therapist through Equissage©, and is attending school through Penn Foster to become a Licensed Veterinary Technician. In her down time she enjoys riding ATVs, training her two horses, and spending time with family.     Veterinary Assistant

    Maria joined the team in July 2016 as a Veterinary Assistant. Her experience includes volunteering at the local Humane Society and working at a local pet store.     Client Service Coordinator

    Augusta joined the team in July 2016 as a Client Service Coordinator. She is a native of Birmingham, Al, and received her Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology and a minor in criminal justice from Alabama A&M University in 2011. She recently completed the Certified Nursing Assistant class from Wallace Community College. When not working, Augusta enjoys spending time with her daughter and she has a 7-month-old pit bull mix named Pixie. More Details >>
