• Why is my dog prone to having ear infections?

    Hi Lashay,
I recommend that you talk to your local veterinarian about this question. They know your pet’s medical history and can talk to you about the most likely causes for your individual pet. In general, there are some things that can cause or lead to an ear infection. These include long pendulous ears, food allergies, skin allergies, and swimming. A lot of the underlying causes can be managed which can help to prevent the infections. Your vet can talk to you about some preventive measures that you can take at home.
