• What kind of laxative can I give my dog to treat his constipation? He weighs about 10lbs. Thanks in Advance!

    Hi Migdalia,
I recommend that you take him into see a veterinarian. Constipation in dogs is rare and if present, it is usually secondary to an underlying medical issue. Your vet can talk to you more about the cause of his symptoms after they have examined him. The treatment that he needs will depend on the severity and underlying cause of his symptoms. I do not recommend using any medications for him unless directed to do so by your vet. If used incorrectly many over the counter human medications can be harmful to pets.
