• We have a 7 week old puppy, she’s a American Pitbull Terrier. We feed her every 4-5 hours 3 to 4 times a day depending on her appetite , we give her a little less than 1/2 cup is this too much or can she have a full 1/2 cup?

    Hi Richard,
I recommend that you talk to your local veterinarian about this. The amount of food that she needs will depend on the exact food that you are using, the amount of energy that she is using, and her overall  health. Your vet knows your pet and they can let you know how much to feed her. It is important to not over or under feed her. In general, the bag of puppy food should have a chart on it with the pet’s current or expected rate and the amount to feed. This is usually a daily amount so if it says 1 cup then you should feed 1/3 of a cup three times a day.
