• Tilley, our 4 year old cat has been vomiting a few times a day for the past 2 days. There’s no change in her diet and nothing in our house that she might be eating. Could she be over-eating. We leave her dry food out all the time, but have not noticed an increase in her consumption. She seems to be vomiting up her food. What should we do?

    Hi James,
I recommend that you take her into see a veterinarian. Vomiting like you are describing is concerning. There can be a few different causes for this including infection, inflammation of the GI tract, a GI obstruction, or an underlying medical issue. Your vet can talk to you more about the cause of the vomiting after they have examined her. They may recommend some lab tests and/or x-rays to help diagnose or rule out certain diseases. The treatment that she needs will depend on the underlying cause and severity of the symptoms.
