• Our puppy is constipated. When he finally manages to poop his stool is looser than it has been. What can we do to help him?

    Hi Becky,
I recommend that you take your puppy into see a veterinarian. Constipation in puppies is not very common and that now combined with the loose stool is concerning. There can be a few different causes for this including infection, intestinal parasites, inflammation of the GI tract, or an underlying medical issue. Your vet can talk to you more about the cause of his symptoms and the treatment that he needs after they have examined him.
