• My terrier mix has had a white discharge from his right eye for the last two days. Also, sometimes sounds stuffy when breathing but rarely. Still has lots and lots of energy and a normal appetite. Other than the discharge and occasional stuffiness he seems completely fine and normal. My question is: at what point should I bring him in to see a vet? What signs should we be on the look out for something potentially serious?

    Hi Sergio,
Any time we see a change in what is normal for our pets it is best to bring them to the veterinarian. This way if it is something concerning we can catch it early before it becomes a bigger problem. If it is nothing concerning, the veterinarian can let you know that so you don’t have to worry. This makes life better for you and your dog.
