• My puppy has a descended testicle I am bringing him in for his first visit and will schedule for him to be neuter soon. Can they take care of this testicle at the time of the neutering?

    Hi Karen,
Congratulations on your new puppy! When you bring your puppy in for his first visit, the veterinarian can discuss with you the neuter procedure and any concerns you may have. The neuter surgery does involve removing both testicles. Sometimes one or both testicles have not descended correctly and the veterinarian may need to perform additional surgery to remove the testicles.
