• My pup is turning 1 yrs old next month. She's had a problem for a little where she throws up after drinking water, no matter the amount. The throw up is usually clear and sometimes contains some food but she throws up everytime after drinking water. Is this behavioral or a possible concern?

    Hi Sheala,
I recommend that you take her into see a veterinarian as soon as possible. Vomiting after drinking water is concerning and it is not a behavior issue. There can be a few different causes for this including infection, intestinal parasites, a physical abnormality of the GI tract, or an underlying medical issue. Your vet can talk to you more about the cause of this after they have examined her. They may recommend some lab tests or x-rays to help diagnose or rule out certain diseases. The treatment that she needs will depend on the underlying cause of her symptoms.
