• My kitten's meow suddenly became deeper and sounds raspy. He was recently on antibiotics for an upper respiratory infection and the vet said he was doing better, but he still sneezes sometimes. What could be causing the voice change?

    Hi Alexis,
I recommend that you take your kitten back into see your veterinarian. The voice change is concerning as it can be caused by an underlying disease. The causes can include an upper respiratory infection, inflammation of the voice box, or a more severe underlying medical issue. Your vet can talk to you more about the causes of his symptoms and the treatment needed after they have examined him.
