• My dogs paw has a chunk that was torn. No bleeding . Have kept her home, used Neosporin, paw wax and liquid band-aid. Should I bring her in to have the surrounding skin trimmed?

    Hi Mary,
I do recommend that you take her into see a veterinarian. Paw injuries are concerning because they can easily become infected. There can also be some healing concerns with the paw so having her examined by a vet will be best. Your vet can recommend the additional care she needs after they have examined her.
