• My dog is mixed breed I believe he is part boxer, he is currently 15 months and about 70 lbs. I started him on several different puppy foods and he would randomly vomit. When he was about 9 months I put him on large breed puppy food and he has not had any incidents of vomiting. Now that he is over 1 yr old I'm wondering if he should be on large breed adult food or regular adult food.

    Hi Essence,
I recommend that you talk to your local veterinarian about this. The time to change from puppy food to adult food will depend on a few different things including his breed, weight, expected size, and overall health. Your vet knows your pet and they will be able to give you the best advice on this. When you do switch his food, it will be important to change the food slowly especially since he had issues with vomiting because of the food in the past.
