  • My dog has this skin lesion under her right front leg. Its this ringworm? https://imgur.com/a/gIgsaT8

Hi Toan, in veterinary medicine, ringworm is often referred to as “the great pretender” because it can appear in many different ways and there are many other diseases that can look just like it. There are different things we can do to get a more definitive diagnosis of ringworm and I do suggest that you bring your dog in so we can get a look and run some of these tests. I will let you know that unless your dog has specifically been exposed to another animal that does have ringworm, dogs are less likely to have this disease than are cats.
