• My dog has been in heat for a little over a month now, should i be worried or get her checked? She's been eating normally and her energy level doesn't seem to be unusual. Although she does randomly squeal out of nowhere and then run off really quick.

    Hi Jessica,
I recommend that you take her into see a veterinarian. Heat cycles can vary in length but usually they do not last more than a month. There can be potential complications that may have happened if it is prolonged. Your vet can talk to you more about this and any treatment that she needs after they have examined her.
