• My dog has a blueish, hairless lump on top of his hind leg. We were told it was a benign cyst and had it drained when it was small. It is now much larger and it looks to be opening. What could this be?

With the change in size I recommend that you take your dog in to see your veterinarian. Your veterinarian can assess the lump and let you know the best treatment. Cysts can sometimes change in size if they are filling with fluid. However, it could be that there is something else going on, so a physical exam is the best way to proceed. Good luck.
