• My dog ate wisteria flowers this afternoon. Doing OK so far. Should I be concerned?

    Hi Emma,
I recommend you contact your vet and tell them how big your dog is and how much Wisteria he ate. If they already know your dog’s weight, they can tell you pretty readily. If it’s been more than a couple hours and he hasn’t started throwing up or acting tired or sick, you’re probably in the clear, but get an appointment if any vomiting or diarrhea starts, especially if there’s any blood in it. If you’re concerned and want more information meanwhile, you can call 1-888-426-4435 for the Pet Poison Control hotline at ASPCA (note: there is a $65 charge for this consultation).
